What's been crazy is that Levi has made MULTIPLE difficult saves during this streak, he's had 1 or 2 softies overall but most are great shots, or flukes. He alone should be worth 10 more points next year (assuming no regression and good health)

We need back to back 5-3 PP and a new PP unit to have a chance. We layed an egg tonight sadly. Shouldn't have had to go on a 7 game winning streak with such a condensed schedule to get in, they "almost" did it, but it's just not meant to be. This team better make the playoffs next year.

Playing too cute this period, fancy passes, not shooting. And Igor making great saves. Without Levi, we're losing by at least 2 3rd is the most Important period of the season.

I really like Jost, he seems like a battler. We also look really good so far.

The Sabres dug their own hole overall. I still think of that horrendous call against Jost that gave Florida the tying goal in that recent game, or the obvious kick in against the Isles. Granted, they should play good enough to be able to absorb a bad call her or there. I'm sure we got the benefit on some calls throughout the season, but those seem extra large right now (and I'm also a Sabres Homer) The 8 game streak followed by something like a 4-16 record after the All star break crushed us. I do hope that they realize next year that those can be absolute crushers when you get to the end of the season and appear to miss by a fine margin.
