  1. I can see Denver doing enough to slow down the Panthers and causing Newton into some turnovers, however the Panthers D is on a much higher level than the Patriots D and Denver doesn't move the ball all that well.
  2. I was scared at the end, Gronk getting the long 4th and 10 and the TD, I wasn't comfortable until the onsides was recovered, because NE always finds a way..... I'm happy to see Brady go home, he'll yeah!!! So does Peyton retire either way?!
  3. Oh man, it's getting medical up in here now!!! Hell I slept like poop last night and I couldn't even hit a second serve in today. I blame.....antics
  4. I'm so glad I went and played some tennis tonight, on the ride home I realized 2 things: 1: this sounded like an extremely boring lopsided game. Not surprised by the putrid lineup we iced. 2: the play by play on the radio was terrible, Detroit scored literally like 45 seconds before it was called and not once was the score to the game mentioned until the goal. I'm beginning to believe that disco Dan may not be the coach we have when the team is primed for a run, not saying that based on this game, just in general. But I think we can all stop the belief of playoffs this year.
  5. Gotta say that I question DD these days about usage quite a bit. We are clicking well and then he inserts gorges into the lineup, the gionta usage in the earlier part of the year, the kane/eichel mess. The Alamo mode. I know it's a rebuilding year and I wasnt expecting playoffs at all, but I'm a little underwhelmed overall
  6. Well that sucked, get outta the friggin way or make sure you block it. 30 seconds left and we the bed, what a turn around from the last game.
  7. 5 of 6 would be impressive, I guess we'll see if momentum is really a thing (doubtful).... I don't trust lehner at this point though. I don't see playoffs for this team this year but I'll ride the high while it's here
  8. 26CB who?!? I look forward to these, simply awesome
  9. I'm not, I'm underestimating their offense. Unless Manning can find some arm strength and his recievers start catching, then they will be in trouble. Being at home helps if they win, but watching this game was not a vote of confidence for either team really. It really was, worth the timeout
  10. This game sucks, I really didn't give Pitt any chance before the game especially without brown, but it sure looks like Denver is going home
  11. I think NE destroys both of these teams.... NFC is our only hope
  12. Can't believe the ultimate Alamo mode there came down to an onside kick at the end, make me question Carolina, especially after letting the Giants come back a few weeks ago.
  13. Oh wow, I was doing some work and missed the beginning of this game, didn't realize it was 31-0 not even halftime. Wonder if Panthers rest people at some point
  14. I just wanna see Palmer and fitzgerald win one, I don't mind Carolina though, especially with family in Raleigh and frequent visits there. It's gonna be annoying if it's Brady/Manning AGAIN, I know they're the best of the best (Manning used to be) but it's getting old and the pats look poised for another run and I can't stomach that.
  15. While I agree coaches in general have no balls in the NFL in almost all situations... Except maybe Bruce Arians a couple of times. I still think that a field goal is too easy to get.. Throw a bomb and get a Bs pass interference penalty and bam it's almost like game over. It's so much easier to move the ball the 40 yards needed for FG range than it is for the TD. Maybe the college system isn't the fix, but I think it's much more fair this way.
  16. It's garbage to have sudden death when a kicker can boot one from 60 yards. A coin flip dictates who gets the ball. It's not like hockey where each team has an even shot to posses the puck, and then let the better team dominate. Let the teams put their offense and defense our there like it was meant to be and fight it out with skill. I agree on Palmer, I want him and fitzgerald to win, they have to play better than they did yesterday if they want that to happen.
  17. Wonder what the odds are the NFL ever adopts that concept
  18. I don't expect many teams to get the ball and March 80 yards for a TD, I like the OT rules a lot better this way than it was before, when it was instant sudden death and a fg won it. With that said, I like college football OT, each team gets a shot from a designated yard line and play goes on until one team prevails, or gets balsy and goes for 2
  19. Such an epic comeback just to end so quick in OT, I honestly thought GB had the game after that hail Mary. Still on of the better playoff games I've seen in a while
  20. Hell flutie may have been able to...... Nah
  21. Wow, how do you allow that hail Mary there?!?! Crazy, GB is gonna take this
  22. I can honestly say I was shocked with tonight's game, pleasantly surprised. If only we could see that team more
  23. I want the cards to win, but this game is pretty unspectacular so far, and a far cry from the beatdown that occured a month ago between these teams.
  24. That pretty much comes with the territory..... Home playoff game, they aren't calling that unless it's super blatant. Not on the cheaters anyways.
