It can be, but I used to really crush the 56 milers. It's going to be so hard to get back on and pedal like a Golden Girl.

It was an achilles issue, but I ended up with a spinal cord lesion and had a transverse myelitis, the last couple years have been rough, my neuromuscular system isn't up to snuff and I have really bad diffuse muscle spacisity that makes everything more tight than should be, so I'm slowly trying to get back into things. Last time I tried to work out the symptoms got too bad so I had to stop. I'm hoping with a little more time and more gentle approach I can try to get into it again.

I pulled the 2 bikes out of the basement, pumped up the tires and dusted them off. Have yet to get myself back to a ride. Gonna work on some strength and mobility first, but I'm itching to get back on it

I was going to be mad the the manager, but he had heard everything from another passer by that was a frequent shopper there and knew him, he was on the other side of the store. I had no doubt that if he had heard sooner that he would had stepped in.

I got to stand there at Home Depot this week while waiting for some help from a young lady in the aisle with the lawn/power tools. I was there the day before and knew what I needed and I knew was off the truck the day I came in. I don't mind waiting as another customer was getting help in front of me, however, this poor girl was getting berated by an older couple about how the item they were getting help with was cheaper at tractor supply, the wife in particular was just being a major Wench to put It nicely. Almost yelling at this young 20 year old something about something she can't control, and somehow at the same time acting personally slighted by the prices set by corporate. This went on for at least 5 minutes as I was standing there in my srubs just trying to get one thing. I was patient, until I wasn't. When I saw the girl on the brink of probable tears I stepped in. I made Karen so upset and flustered that she was the one that cried, she tucked her tail and left for tractor supply. I just got off an overnight and had a rough night, so the timing could have been more perfect for this situation. I just cannot understand how people operate some days. The supervisor came over after the Kerfuffle and said he had heard everything, They thanked me, and gave me a can of 2 cycle oil for free lol. So again, this complaint thread is about humanity in general.

I decided today was the day that I was gonna try and get into shape a bit, I've let it go Wayyyy too long. After that medical issue, I Haven't trusted my body as it just doesn't keep up and my muscles only like to partially work under stress now. Today was an Ab day, I have the tonal and used it... I also did some stretching and light lifting. I am completely out of shape, holy hell. I am trying to get my muscles loosened and strengthened a but before I even think of a jog or a ride on the Trek I think the last straw is when my scrub pants are too tight now that when I sit, it puts pressure on certain male parts 😂😂

Saw a man this week, was on a bike ride, about 12 miles in. Called EMS for "heat exhaustion" came in looking like crap... Was evolving into a massive STEMI (heart attack) then went into V fib arrest, got a few shocks and some cpr, etc etc. He lived, had a complete blockage and stented. Moral of the story... Working out is bad for your health 😜😂😂

Also, How in the world are we allowing actual Men, with XY chromosomes, that went through full puberty (Also failed gender testing previously) into the actual Olympics. They're beating the crap out of women and it's frankly disgusting to watch. As if I needed more of a reason to dislike the Games in general. If you wanna be liberal or "woke" or whatever the word may be these days, then ok. But this is just absurd and getting worse every year. At this point, just make every sport Co-Ed and call it a day. I know it's "the Olympics" but man, there are some really obscure sports out there. I don't mind watching hockey and some cool skiing stuff in the winter Olympics, but the summer games just don't do it for me.

The only issue with doing brakes now, some newer cars (my gmc truck) require a reset of some things like a parking brake sensor and etc after the job is done. I have c clamps and etc and the rotors and pads (even calipers) aren't so hard, but the electronic stuff Is over my head.

Negative ghostrider. I've left a place that was paying me more because it was terrible. Money doesn't change a place being terrible. Besides the difference in 2.5mil vs 3 mil, isn't as big of a deal it is to us making much less.
