Yet another example of Buffalo not being allowed good things.

The hate is really minimal. Folks can’t criticize without being labeled a hater. SMH My only complaint is that he really works to avoid contact. Before anyone responds with something, something, Pronger, something. The vast majority of us mentioning his avoidance of contact are not expecting a banger. It’s simply that, were he to use his physical frame to wedge and trap guys along the boards or box out forwards in the front of the net, his play would improve even more. It’s such an obvious gap in his game.

Hmmm…… really young guys wilting under pressure. Whoda thunk?

The irony of fan appreciation night occurring the game after they are eliminated from the playoffs for the 13th consecutive season.

We had fragile children with Lindy. No coach puts this team in the playoffs without a few veteran additions.

Every team wins or looses through their drafting efforts. Every team but Buffalo has recognized that it is important to have a solid base of good veterans to guide their young players.

I saw the length of Pimlach’s post and mistakenly assumed it was our resident AI bot. The carriage returns should have been a dead giveaway.

It’s not smarts to realize that you are the problem. It is self awareness. And most folks don’t have it sufficiently enough to recognize when they are the problem.

No solace whatsoever. Hey, at least we’re not the Flyers? Is there any room whatsoever for that mindset? I don’t see any.

We’ve made so much progress that the team will have fewer points this year than last year. You are what your record says you are. This team has not progressed. It is still entirely possible that this seasons team does not eclipse the lofty totals Dan Bylsma oversaw.

JFC I’ve been preaching this since we drafted Sam. This team has not sufficiently valued veterans since they tore down the team to start the Suffering.

Not bitter. Just an extension of my Because Buffalo disappointment.

Owen Power’s ceiling?

The only experience here was a rapid darkness and then the rapid lightening. The cloud cover was heavy, very threatening rain looking. Had a less than 30 sec look in a gap in the clouds when the sun was about 30% obscured. Thats it. Disappointing. Would have liked to see a show. Oh well. Next time. Nevermind.

The gloom in the sky matches the gloom in Sabreland.

Byram is not the guy you move for Parayko. Byram is a win now and win later player. Think prospects.

Just once before I die. Kinda like championship expectations around here.

T minus - 1hr and my locale is solidly blocked in with cloud cover. Not optimistic that I will see much of a show.

We are expected to move on from ~3 forwards. If the 3 prospects I mentioned take their place, there is not room on the roster unless KA starts trading folks. I don’t foresee that happening, but am willing to get excited if it does. And if the trades are veterans out, we still aren’t improving the number of veterans on the team overall.

Veteran leadership specifically. This is what you can expect when the team building focus is “don’t block the kids”. If our roster changes for next season include Kulich, Rosen, Savoie, replacing our FA’s this will happen again next season.
