I love the Golden Knights. Vegas is our happy place ( well it was and will be again) and I loved watching them and wished my Sabres were like them. I even thought of switching allegiances but it’s too difficult to switch teams. I just decided I’d cheer for them and not worry about a Cup Final battle ( I mean, Sabres, Cup?) But yeah Vegas management made some good moves and capitalized on some major unprotected blunders by other teams.

Imagine if fans were paying to see them play ?? Can you imagine? Blow it up

15 shots in goal. I haven’t watched because I have a life, but also because the Islanders may very well be the worst team to watch play in the NHL. I can’t stand their style of play and of course they’re money when ahead , which always happens against Buffalo. Blow it up!

I am from BC and we did a good job with everything in the beginning but now so many people are just too selfish and lazy to follow through and this virus hangs around. Every weekend a group of anti maskers whining about 5G and their rights bla bla bla gather. It’s ridiculous. I haven’t been sick in over a year (since I had what I believe was Covid- awful) and I’m pretty happy about it. I am a social person but I’m all for masks and distancing until this is over. The flu? What’s that. There’s pretty much zero flu here. Gee I wonder why? I can say going fwd that every year I’ll start masking up when the seasons shift to fall/winter so I can avoid getting a nasty cold or other bug. I sick at being sick. But to the maniacs out there defiant in their big stand against the huge sacrifice of having to wear a mask, you know where you can stick it. I honestly can’t believe this is a sword people wanna fall on. The twits that gather here (and everywhere) should use that hour or two and try something constructive, like volunteering their time. Do some good instead of the Groundhog Day we are stuck in. To those who lost loved ones, sorry.

Love Dylan Cozens. Handled himself nicely. Rob Ray’s pee pee surely twinged lol This team needs building around Cozens. This kid will lead. Unlike the current captain. I watch Bo Horvat and the kid plays hard every night. He’s not as skilled as Jack but he outworks him every game. His body language is always positive no matter how poorly his team is playing. He’s a leader. I see Cozens being that guy for the Sabres down the road. Still say blow it up but Cozens is the guy we definitely keep.

I think the Jack Eiche experiment is over. He’s a good player but he’s not the generational player we were told he was. There are so many players out there that could replace Jack and quite literally the team would save money. When I see AM in Toronto dominate it shows me a far better player than Jack. The Oilers have two players better than Jack. The Canucks have two players who will be better than Jack (Pettersson maybe already) and Quinn Hughes (who is going to be better than Dahlin (if he’s not already) I could go down many teams best players and place them ahead of Jack. And then there are guys who aren’t as good as Jack but are far better leaders, and all round players. Maybe Jack can be McDavid 2.0 one day, but it won’t happen in Buffalo. He’s already damaged by the experience there, as are many who’ve been there the whole time. So I would trade him before they can’t move him. Get what you can. Get better team players, in areas where the team needs help.

Absolutely Lazar has been a plus.

Well, this season is done. Hall, if he was trying to really get paid, he’s not made a good decision signing one year deal. Jack looks so average now. VO and Sam are the two offensive guys I notice most. Blow it up.

Kesler gave Benning no choice on teams to move him to. Kesler said he wanted out and to be on a winner. He made the team trade him to Anaheim. Don’t k is where you got info on not asking out.

Anyone suggesting Canucks trade their captain and boeser for Jack and Sam are on some serious good shite! I highly doubt the Canucks trade Bo for anyone on the Sabres tbh. I’m not sure they’d trade him for Jack straight up even. And I’m serious. Bo is all heart. He’s a leader. He learned from the Sedims in what it takes. Jack learned nothing about leading and was handed the C. Bo digs in deeper when things are tough, ya know, opposite of what Jack does. Canucks moves would be ditching Vrtanen first and foremost. But Bo ain’t getting moved. I’d say Bo and Pettersson are their untouchable players.

Lazar has a 31% shooting percentage. Time to give him more ice time. 11:52 tonight, half of the $10 million dollar man. 4 more hits for CL TOO! One guy who gives it his all each night. Time to ditch Okposo too. Waive him, did him. Jeez.

I like Sam, but he’s the guy they’ll move IMO. If they move anyone. I love his iq and like him as a player but he’s not untradeable. Jack will be gone too, but I think that’s at his doing. Probably next season if I’m a betting man.

Because he’s too slow and unless he’s with Jack, he doesn’t do very much. He’s been here the longest and he’s just used to not winning.

I believe someone from the core needs to go as well. Reinhart most definitely comes to mind for me. I think Jack stays until he decides he’s had enough.

One unfavorable trend I’ve noticed in game’s I’ve seen, the Sabres seem to have I too many shifts where guys stay on too long. That is definitely something coaching should address. The topic guys are most guilty.

Tough to win in this league when you give up goals 20 seconds in, 37 second left in a period and 1 second left in a period. And Hutton, is a below average goalie IMO.

Bun, they played the Canucks 3 straight. Ya know, the team with the league’s worst goals against. The way they’re playing right now, is fancy the Sabres scoring too!

The top line doesn’t score it’s gonna be a lot of long nights

This team is still fragile and goals like that simply cannot happen. If they win this now, I’ll be shocked. Time for a new goalie, whatever it takes.

The Sabres have a lot of try, are seemingly right there ??? but their goaltending is so suspect. The 3-3 goal against Washington from behind the net simply cannot happen to this team. They simply aren’t good enough to have those types of goals take place. I’d look into Fleury for sure.

Sadly I am working full time dealing with the public daily. Other than that, I go home and stay away from others

Appreciate your opinion I’m just telling you my scientist buddy who is published and works with virologists and epidemiologists says the government dragged it’s heels on this. That’s all. Let’s hope we get through this. I hope all realize that it’s far better being proactive than reactive and sadly that is where we ended up.

You’ve heard the country is behind and I’ve heard it. When I say Trump I say it because not matter who you support, he doesn’t like being told what to do. And there are reports he failed to act when he was warned a month earlier that this would become a pandemic. Now nobody is handling this properly let’s be clear but arrogance from ANYONE does not have a place during these situations. Politics needs to be removed and professional medical and science people need to be listened to. Had the doctor in China not been stifled and bullied by the government (he’s since died) this situation would be nowhere near a pandemic. I also believe the WHO were too slow on this. But regarding Trump he was just asked if he would reach out to his predecessors before him and he again played the arrogance card saying he’s calling them if he feels one life could be saved but he doesn’t think that could happen. Come on!
