That hurt. I turned it on at 5-3. This team needs to learn how to close it out. Both games against TB we were in it with 5 to go. 3-3 ended 5-3. 5-3 ended up 6-5. And until we do close them out, TB won’t have that fear. They knew it wasn’t over at 5-3. And giving a goal back just 16 secs later was the killer.

Samuelsson has played 7 games. He’s plus 10. Sabres are 6-1 in those games. We gave up 3 or more goals in 13 straight games, Samuelsson missed all 13 of those games. Last two games, 2 against in each. The kid is important.

Haven’t got the game here but nice to see Jost drop the mitts as well as the pushback when Cozens got hit. Now don’t blow this.

Well it’s official. Something needs to be done. GMKA needs to make some changes. We are way too easy to play against.

I, but I think you’re being far too critical of him. He’s being asked to do too much, too soon. He’s gonna have shifts where he looks great and some that look bad. He’s not the issue.

Give up on him. That’ll be smart. The kid is gonna be some player and imo needs all the encouragement in the world.

I’d like to see someone get mad too. I see Dylan being the guy. He gets to a point and then he loses it. It’s coming. And the leafs are the team to get bad at.

Power is 19 and he’s gonna be just fine. He’s being asked to do a lot more than they wanted. Dahlin took ages to get to this level. And he’s still learning.

He is missed. He sets the tone. He hits, he plays simple. Yes he’s one guy but he’s missed.

I rarely get Sabres games on tv here in Kelowna and I get three in a row and this the last of the 3. Thank goodness.

Cozens replacing Power on pp. Surprised Power wasn’t shooting the puck and other teams knew it.

First goal was going wide and hits a knee and goes in on an extremely weak call. Second goal leafs had took many men not called. Third was a joke, no way that should count. Fragile team and everything is going against them. Gonna need a lot to get out of it.

Rumors are floating around in Vancouver that Horvat is on the way out. If Adams could get him to sign who would you be happy to let go? Horvat is a stand up guy who never takes a night off. He’d really hep the Sabres. Interesting proposition imo. But for who?
