  1. Heard the Sabres are kicking the tires on Logan Thompson. Any interest?
  2. Don't remember seeing it posted - Bruins sign Frédéric 2x2.3. Wild sign Gustavsson 3x3.75. Coyotes sign Cooley to his ELC. Arbitrator gives Swayman 3.475.
  3. 6K will be fine. He'll play at least thirty games and have a winning record.
  4. No. But, I'm higher on 6K than most, I'd rather have him than Gibson.
  5. Next year, as in 24-25.
  6. Yes, not this coming season, the next one.
  7. I think Benson, Savoie and Kulich are all on the Sabres next year.
  8. If we could pry Saros out of Nashville I'd pay whatever it takes. If not, I'm good with 6K. If he's not moved I think he'll get over 30 games and have a winning record.
  9. Nashville has developed into a pretty good hockey market. I don't hate it.
  10. Love this.
  11. I don't doubt that at all. Not relevant to his time in Nashville though.
  12. He'd be an upgrade over a few.
  13. No other issues. Decent team most years that was never quite good enough to win the cup. Last year there were too many injuries to overcome, the only GM in franchise history retired, the old core is aging and trotts is blowing it up. While Technically not the GM at the time, every move from the Jeannot trade was Trotts doing.
  14. Duchene would be a good fill in for Quinn while he's out. Potted 40 two years ago playing with Forsberg and Granlund. Decent production last year considering the linemates, but not 8M worth. Responsible defensively. Good locker room guy in Nashville, can't speak to previous teams. I think he'd look good with Cousins and JJ, I'd be happy if they picked him up. Could probably flip him at the deadline for a 2nd if they wanted.
  15. Yes, it is, I'm happy with it.
  16. Yes.
  17. BS. Saros is on the block, Askarov is not. Gotta love draft day hijinks.
  18. No, but I'm higher on 6K than most around here.
  19. Love this take. I've been in middle Tennessee for over two decades, nashville since I retired, preds season ticket holder. Doesn't make me any less a Sabres fan. If SBF takes some joy, even pride, from his 2nd(other?) favorite team winning the cup I say good for him.
  20. Yes, it will, but it will fade over time instead of being on ongoing social media firestorm every time a player refuses to out there in an event jersey. I'll say it again, I don't agree with the NHLs decision, but I understand why they did it (at least I think I do, I could be wrong).
  21. Good trade for the Preds, Trotts was going to buy him out if he couldn't trade him. I think the retention is cheaper.
  22. I don't think players should be able to decline wearing a jersey or participate in warm-ups, not for any moral reason as I am no one else's moral compass, but because they are contractually obligated to do so. I think the NHL got this one wrong. They also received heavy criticism for players not participating, and likely would every year going forward. They'll take heavy criticism for their decision this week, but it will fade away over time. I understand why they did it, even if I don't like it.
  23. Look at the roster that played in front of Saros the last month of the season when they almost snuck into the playoffs, he may be the best goalie in the league. I'd offer 13OA, 6K, Savoie and VO, for Saros, Parssinen and Carrier.
  24. I understand. Can't argue with any of that, thanks for responding. From what I saw of Kulich my opinion is he could fit on a line with Krebs and Okposo if Girgs doesn't come back or he could fit on a line with Mitts. I just think this kid is different. I don't think he's limited at all by his age. Maybe I overvalue him? I dunno, I guess we'll see.
  25. Curious why you think that? In my opinion Kulich was the better player.
