  1. YMMV of course, but I don't believe you paint a fair picture here. When you say "unceasingly shout about", my mind goes to the 387 sticks Thorny has broken on his dead horse, which is why I find so many of his posts nothing more than eye roll worthy. I don't believe LGR has come close to that level. Again, YMMV.
  2. Plus Suter to the Canucks, 2x1.6.
  3. I've never heard of Rhine capitalism. I found some interesting reading when I googled it. Thank you for that.
  4. For the record, I wanted Adams to upgrade the G. I still do. In fact, when hypothetical trades were being thrown around prior to the draft no one on here proposed giving up more than I did for Saros (Savoie, 6K, 23 1st, 24 2nd). That being said, if we go with Levi and 6K I think 6K will get over 30 starts and have a winning record. 6K will be fine.
  5. 6K will be fine.
  6. 6K will be fine. He'll play over thirty games and have a winning record.
  7. Heard the Sabres are kicking the tires on Logan Thompson. Any interest?
  8. Don't remember seeing it posted - Bruins sign Frédéric 2x2.3. Wild sign Gustavsson 3x3.75. Coyotes sign Cooley to his ELC. Arbitrator gives Swayman 3.475.
  9. 6K will be fine. He'll play at least thirty games and have a winning record.
  10. No. But, I'm higher on 6K than most, I'd rather have him than Gibson.
  11. Next year, as in 24-25.
  12. Yes, not this coming season, the next one.
  13. I think Benson, Savoie and Kulich are all on the Sabres next year.
  14. If we could pry Saros out of Nashville I'd pay whatever it takes. If not, I'm good with 6K. If he's not moved I think he'll get over 30 games and have a winning record.
  15. Nashville has developed into a pretty good hockey market. I don't hate it.
  16. Love this.
  17. I don't doubt that at all. Not relevant to his time in Nashville though.
  18. He'd be an upgrade over a few.
  19. No other issues. Decent team most years that was never quite good enough to win the cup. Last year there were too many injuries to overcome, the only GM in franchise history retired, the old core is aging and trotts is blowing it up. While Technically not the GM at the time, every move from the Jeannot trade was Trotts doing.
  20. Duchene would be a good fill in for Quinn while he's out. Potted 40 two years ago playing with Forsberg and Granlund. Decent production last year considering the linemates, but not 8M worth. Responsible defensively. Good locker room guy in Nashville, can't speak to previous teams. I think he'd look good with Cousins and JJ, I'd be happy if they picked him up. Could probably flip him at the deadline for a 2nd if they wanted.
  21. Yes, it is, I'm happy with it.
  22. Yes.
  23. BS. Saros is on the block, Askarov is not. Gotta love draft day hijinks.
