He has emotion certainly but that was egged on by the fear of his sister’s fate if he failed. Even if you can excuse lighting his Saber over Kylo, you can’t deny that him effectively exiling himself immediately after leaving his friends and sister to clean up is a tad absurd. Also his battle would have been better had he actually been there for real; took out some of the armored AT-ATs and then literally used the force to stop their shots and then fought Kylo. Frankly if you wanted a depressed and miserable Luke they needed to truly bring more to the table. For starters though I would have let Han and Leia stay together and not have this depressing separation regardless of potential realism. Luke should have gotten married to Mara Jade, had 3 kids 2 boys and a girl. The girl (Rey) seemingly dies with Mara in a ship that was pursued by some bad guy group. Unbeknownst to Luke, his daughter was saved by Mara who got her into an escape pod which hit the surface of Jakku causing a brain injury that makes her forget most of her identity. Luke’s becomes distracted and somber after the loss of his wife and child which allows Kylo to become tempted by the Dark Side. While Luke is out hunting for Mara and “Rey” the Knights of Ren recruit a somewhat hesitant Kylo who’s become twisted by his desire to know more about Vader. The Knights and Kylo end up having an epic showdown with Luke’s eldest son whom valiantly fights along with a few other young Jedi until he’s badly wounded and is killed by the head of the Knights although the plan had nothing to do with sacking the temple. Luke’s middle child is captured for experimentation and Kylo joins the Knights in part to get revenge on The Ren and to protect his younger cousin. Luke arrives back to find his eldest dead, his life’s work burning and signs that Kylo was behind it and thus finally breaking his heart leading him to seek out the ancient sacred texts. Kylo eventually kills the Ren and takes up the mantle but continues to struggle between his desire for power and to protect his cousin. Then you could pretty much run TFA in a very similar manner but now Rey has a legitimate background explaining her love of engineering and uncanny knowledge of the Falcon through Anakin and being in it in the past respectively. Kylo discovers her and has this sneaking suspicion that Rey is his supposed late cousin and thus wants to keep her away from the Emperor who hasn’t exactly been happy since his other cousin escaped. (Thx to Kylo unbeknownst to Palpatine) Also Rogue One was awesome, being a war film lover it was akin to Star Wars war film. Rant over lol

That was steep

Well we have more physicality in our Bot 6 than we had prior. Tanev is a great defensive dman but will likely only play 50 games a season.. Zadorov is overpaid and I firmly believe he's still a 3rd pairing guy based on his entire career besides this year in Vancouver. Zucker is tougher to play against than Olofsson Presently Boston's 4th Line in Depth are Max Jones, John Beecher, and Mark Kastelic If we get one more forward to push down Greenway, we'd have Greenway, Lafferty, and Aube-Kubel which isn't bad. I do get that sense from him; a sense that he isn't quite as blind as we want to say he is but can't seem to effectively fix problems due to unusual circumstances or the like.

Yes but not enough to hurt us -
Sabres Sign Jason Zucker to a One Year 5 Million AAV Deal

I like the fact that Zucker's highlights show that even nowadays he will go to the net with or without the puck. Is Kevyn lagging in real life? A lot of his signings this year would of made just as much if not even more sense last offseason. -
Honestly couldn't care less. As long as he can be a solid 2/3 goalie, he's good to me.
-
If I had the time to show the App ticker thing I would but it legitimately says 2 way on there lol
-
Said so on the Sabres Press popup from their app Yet to have seen it though anywhere else which is weird
-
Reimer has a 2 way contract and Levi can pass through waivers so no need
-
Yes, but that was when they used to do it in late July. A lot of the prospects not here have been playing with Rochester, Buffalo until April/May or in a few specific cases their Juniors team until early June. One other caveat is that I'd guess Adams had intentions of trading a prospect potentially and didn't want to have them in town and then trade one out of camp.
-
Good move, gives us the option of Levi in Rochester or Buffalo

They destroyed Luke without giving him enough of a reason to heel-face turn from being almost absurd levels of believing in the good of his dad to trying to kill his nephew. Plus I liked the EU's Luke getting to get married and have kids etc. Felt like he earned a happy ending and deserved to have a semblance of one. The real world is bleak and sad enough, making heroes have sad and melancholy lives "after the story" might be realistic but aren't in any way fun. Wrong thread though lol

Not really depending on the actual offer. Selfishly I wouldn’t of complained though because he was one of my favorite players
-
Ullmark - hadn’t played a full season until that last year. Would of been extremely risky to give starters money to a guy who was injured 2 months every season. Portillo - there were rumors about him running even prior to Levi’s arrival. He was offered a contract the year Power came up and he stayed. UPL - hadn’t earned squat going into last season. Like Ullmark he was frequently hurt and had 1 good month to his name. Reinhart - a tragedy of circumstance; bridged by Botts and then bridged during and likely due to COVID. Seemed to leave on a good foot however. Montour - badly used by Krueger and thus ended up a true casualty of Krueger’s time here. Mitts was likely part locker room shakeup and part desperation for another Top 4 Dman. We’ve also been more than accommodating to vets and others looking for deadline opportunities

Sad, it needed to happen but I’ll always love Girgs
-
Skinner has never made the playoffs while on two different teams Perry has lost in the Finals 4/5 years Which will continue?
-
I didn’t say a perfect offseason just a great one. Granted the bar is rather low at this point so looking like you actually want to make the playoffs is big.
-
Worst part is all they need to do is acquire 1 Top 6 player or a solid 3C and they would have had a damn good offseason. So close to greatness!
-
Good luck Skinner; happy he didn’t go to Toronto
-
If they don’t make any moves, we should organize group pickets and signs telling Terry to stop being Scrooge and Adams to make this team a playoff team or resign

Felt like 1 part BS, 1 part truth, and 1 part a façade

Sabres signed Nicholas Aube Kubel to a one year 1.5 million dollar deal

Forgot this guy won the Cup with Colorado and was the one who accidently dented it lol
