  1. Or he just does not pay enough attention to know the difference? A good question for a press conference./ "Mr President: Do you know what ISIS and ISIL stand for?" Kind of like asking a average 21 year old college graduate who the Vice President of the United States is. lol
  2. It was Bill Cosby not Sidney Crosby.
  3. I think I may have said Bushes mistake was taking the Iraq military out instead of just Sadam LOL. (read the post) No need to repeat my point in your post unless you foot note it.. lol. Even with that mistake the country was stable with our military presence there and the Iranians were worried about that, until our Chamberlain abruptly pulled out. Egypt ,was handling a push from radical Islam in the streets, but was still stable until our Chamberlain took out the President and sided with the radicals. No doubt they would have put down the demonstration, just like they had put down the last ten. Libya was engaged in a civil war too that el Quad would have won, but we tipped the scales to the radicals there too instead of cutting the deal with EL Quad. Putin/Russia was sitting quietly , like a nice boy in Russia worrying about the missle defense in Poland, his new wife, and the size of his economy . The Chinese were in non expansion mode too with a US carrier group in their ocean . Japan and Taiwan trusted us then. Then our Chamberlain starts playing his sissy boy thing on the world stage and starts his easing game to devlaue the dollar, and both China and Russias eyes open. No adults home anymore. The Poles, Japanese, Tiwanese, Isrealis, Jordanians, Saudi's, Egyptians, Ukrainians, and Lebonese all get double crossed. If you read their newspapers they now think he is a russian / chinese plant. The Iranians are in orgasmic nivana and going nuclear as fast as they can. We removed the biggest chit we had to deal with them meaning our military presence in Iraq and Afganistan. I am beginnig to wonder if he is left of socialist,. Twenty years of Liberation Theology, radical communist friendships and a Harvard education can do that to you. LOL (as he casts his fly upon the water)
  4. I was being a little sarcastic in my post .Bush made many mistakes , as do most presidents, but taking Sadam out and neutralizing the Taliban was not one. What followed post war was a huge mistake. As for the remainder of your post..I just do not know what to say? You are entitled to your talking point laden rant and I respect that. I would really be more interested in what your father thinks. Obama is not hesitant, he is incompetent and naive at a magnitude not seen since the father of Radical Islam was in office(Carter). Had Obama not destabilized Iraq, Libya , Egypt, Syria, the Ukraine, miss read ISIS just like he misread the Brotherhood and played the ###### weak knee foreign policy act with China and Russia ,which led them to conclude that the time for an expansionisy push was now, we would not be talking about military intervention anywhere. He has boxed himself in , thus the beginning of the bombing campaign and everything else that will follow through the next presidents term. All of which never had to happen.Maybe Obama should pull out of South Korea next or maybe NATO ..LOL His rich friends will not pay the price the military will down the road .The one group he despises the most and one whichgave him very few votes because they have seen this all before from his ilk. Make a list of wars America has fought in from ww1 forward (where we lost more than 25,000+ men/ ) and then make a list of Presidents who committed us to those ventures. You will find that the Democrats have a far larger body count than the other party you think of as war mongers. LOL Forget the leftists talking points , read some history.
  5. >)The region had to be stabalized. Sadam was out of control again.(How many times do you have to go back/lol)> The mistake was not taking Hussien, our guy, out after he tried to kill Bush 41, but after Carter there was no more covert capability left in the CIA to do it again. We should have installed a replacement without destroying Iraqs military . The second big mistake was NATION BUILDING. Go in change the regime, prop up your new guy and get out. The left sold nation building to Bush just like they sold him the everbody has a right to own a house thing. Nation building was a Harvard or Columbia concept I think. . lol Not a venture for broke nations to undertake and definately not a good idea in a moslem country. I was wondering at what body count does a conflict move from a police action to a war? LOL
  6. I am leaving tommorow.. Do I have to wear a motorcyle helmet when I ride? Can I talk on my cell phone in the car. Do they pay more in welfare in Russia than here? Will my electric bill be lower too? Can I smoke in a bar? Do they believe in global warming? Do labor unions, community activists, and trial lawyers run the country? Are the boarders secure? Is dope legal? Will my state . local and federal cumulative tax rate be less than 45%? Can I burn coal? Wood? Do they frack for gas? Mine? Kill and eat animals? Will my apartmentment cost less than 2gs a month in Moscow? Can my stripper girlfriend/live in wear fur? Can I eat trans fats? Is there an english option on ATMS? After living here for so long I am ok with the state control of media thing.
  7. Thanks for the support. Putin is after pipeline control and ocean access.(not ot mention control of some of the most beautiful women in the world) He has visions of re-building the Empire piece by piece and maybe an even younger wife. Weakness, or the perception of same, stimulates aggression. Always has, always will. The irony here is that our President is playing the Neville Chamberlan role to Putins Hitler while the Bristish Prime Minister plays the war mongers FDR role.(he needed a way out of the great depression/ what better way than war/opps we lost the Japanese attack intelligence warning) LOL The Golpher has had plenty of practice perfecting his Chamberlan role in Egypt, China, Libya, Isreal, Gaza, Syria, Iran, and in the UN. Our new foreign policy is "we do not have one" I call it the Hillary doctrine. What difference does it make.
  8. I think they over achieved last year. They are still a team without a true one center and only one real power forward . They are missing a number of pieces imo . I also worry about Price being injury prone. I agree they make the playoffs again if Price stays healthy. I do not see them getting by Tampa this year.
  9. another take. 1. First bold: ...Many people knew that he would probably fail miserably in the foreign policy arena.. It was obvious to some that the President elect lacked the resume and experience to successfully navigate this critically important area of governance. He compounded the problem by appointing a senior staff which magnified his foreign policy deficiencies . 2. Second Bold: . Out of recession , technically true for now . Giving his policies credit for same . laughable. Lets see what happens when quantitative easing ends , or the middle east blows up. lol The impact of massive levels of defict financing and the Presidents monetary policy will stretch far into the future. The people who have benifited from his policies the most are the uber rich on Wall Street, which ironically is where most of his money is raised. The middle class and minority communities have paid the highest price as a result of those policies. How do you like the value of your dollar today vs 2008 or the price of your gasoline, energy, meat, etc etc etc. 3, Third Bold: Untrue. The President promised to withdraw and announced the date publically long before he actually did it.. Iraq conceded to the U.S. Status of Forces Agreement demands . 4. Fourth Bold: Some could legitimately argue that most of his foreign policy speeches exemplified his naivety. (read some Euopean newspapers for a different perspective on this issue) His removal of the Egytian President and support for the brotherhood are perfect examples not to mention Libya, Syria, Iran, the Ukraine, etc 5. Fifth Bold. Wrong. All the chemical weapons have not been removed from Syria. Even the NYTs has reported that There are some frightening reports that the militants have over run some facilities that still had them in inventory.
  10. Ok, I am bored and will bite. Eighth in scoring in the NHL, or somehing like that , over the past eight seasons . The guy puts up 277 total goals , playing without a legit top tier one center for the past six , on a team without a pp and going nowhere, ...............and you are disappointed ? lol. I kind of like what he looked like on a good line with his near a pt a game, although Kyle was not a perfect match on the RW. That could have been his game here had Darcy had a brain. My biggest disappointment. Jim Lorentz for costing us the cup in 75.
  11. We can not have too many players improve at once . It is another tank year . The last I hope in our eight year rebuild  Just six years left to glory :bag:
  12. Be very careful . That type of thoughtful analysis can get you indicted in NY, especially in the Buffalo area.
  13. Murray said publically that Ott was not in his plan because Ott had already told him privately that Buffalo was not in his.
  14. To be fair he is playing off wing, with a lw that could not put a accurate pass on my grandmothers stick if she was standing still at center ice. The center is half the size of a walnut, can only see the LW side of the ice, and probably would not be playing on the first or second lines of any other playoff team.. Now that I said that they will go on a scoring tear and I hope they do because I hate Boston. A pathectic line,NHL playoffs level skill wise, other than Patches speed and shooting ability. TV is averaging two shots per game?.Beyond Price, Subban and TV what do you see???? .
  15. Still lots of x Sabres players in the playoff mix Game seven: Rick Nash alone in front of Mason from ten feet , save glove side.. lol Eat it Blue.
  16. Just 10-15 more years..things are looking up.
  17. :clapping: .. (on with the ten year rebuild)
  18. You are correct , someone will give him the money because on a good team (not to be confused with ours or the Isles) with a playmaking center, he will continue to use half of his skill and energy to play through injuries and put up 20-40 goals and 60-80, pts for the next five or so years. He is still a scoring chance machine and still makes whomever he plays with better . OR he may take less to return to MINN because in the final analysis he probably knows hockey is just another professional sport meat market and that the quality of his family's life is far more important than a puck and the psycho mood swings of the average fickle fan. lol Freidman and Hughson are just two of many talking heads in the pro sport buisness. They must have thought Austria was a powerhouse hockey force with a chance to medal.(I did like their hybrid goaltender who played the third against Canada and the next two games ) Their opinions in the market carry the same weight as Potato's. Today, Boston, Philly, LA, and Pitt are kicking themselves knowing Montreal got him for a 2nd and a/b prospect. It gets really interesting if Montreal faces Boston in the playoffs or for that matter any of those teams who looked early and passed.
  19. yep... 2 seconds and a bag of pucks.. was the market more like 2025
  20. Rumor has it we threw in our zamboni in the McNabb trade
