  1. I'm trying to think of the last time GMTM traded for a good defenseman that stuck with the team...never.
  2. Abysmal Dan has given O'Reilly more than 700 faceoffs than anyone else on the team, 1248. The next best is Eichel at 547 then Larsson at 533. After that it's huge drop off. That's got to take something out of him. But now they have Bailey on the first line, that can't be too encouraging... There are a very few guys on the team trying to carry the load and they're not succeeding. There are too many passengers. Sell, sell, sell.
  3. O'Reilly is a non-factor. He is nowhere near worth what they pay him.
  4. This is the second game in a row the Sabres fell victim to a long diagonal pass in the d-zone to a superstar sniper.
  5. Speaking about the Sabres and the Canucks, here's a documentary about Mike Robitaille. It's unbelieveable what happened to Mike. http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/episodes/40-years-of-the-fifth-estate/mike-robitaille-playing-hurt
  6. He's talented but troubled. Do you want another troubled character to influence our yutes? http://thehockeywriters.com/is-the-nhl-finished-with-mike-ribeiro/
  7. anyone want Ribeiro? http://www.tsn.ca/waived-preds-f-ribeiro-has-requested-trade-1.663950
  8. I think too much weight is being put on Eichel and Ristolainen's shoulders. As good as they are, they are both immature and shouldn't be shouldering the load.
  9. My unpopular opinion among others is that Jack Eichel wants the hell out of Buffalo.
  10. 6'8 ex Sabre Joe Finley almost deep sixed a guy in the Finnish leagues. http://www.russianmachineneverbreaks.com/2017/01/13/former-caps-draft-pick-joe-finley-lands-brutal-hit-in-finnish-elite-league-game/
  11. You're right in a way. It depends on the word. I think the word bimbo is light as opposed to any racial slur. We can discuss the comparison of the two when 6 million bimbos are killed.
  12. Don't agree sod. There has to be a chain of command where the owner delegates responsibility. Responsibility of the GM is to hire/fire coaches among other things.
  13. I'm not saying it's a tire fire but Petula put Whaley in an awful bad position when he spoke to Rex and agreed to part company right on the spot. He undermined his own GM. The right thing to do would have been to listen to Rex then go to Whaley to make a decision. Now Whaley doesn't have credibility.
  14. Yes and she's much younger as I said before.
  15. I wanted to leave it bimbo because that's how I really feel. But I felt people on the board couldn't handle it so I had made a more moderate phrase. But you did your "gotcha" so here it is: IMO Kim Petula is a bimbo. Bimbo. Bimbo. Bimbo. There I said it. I mean it and I don't give a crap what you or anyone else thinks bc IMO it's close to the truth.
  16. Any time a person marries a much older, much wealthier spouse, the word "bimbo" is the first thing that comes to mind whether it's male or female and it may just well be the case here.
  17. I think the Bills is an example of a big expensive thing being bought by a sugar daddy to entertain and occupy his much younger, assertive wife, who IMO is a bimbo.
  18. I'm completely anonymous, not like these so-called journalists who don't want to offend so I'm going to make a claim or narrative that you might not have seen before. It's not PC and you might not agree and you might be offended but I think it's the truth. I believe that Kim Pegula, who gives most of the quotes to the press in regards to Bills' leadership, has been gifted the team by her husband, much like Hillary was handed high government positions solely because of her husband. Kim has absolutely no qualifications to run a sports team or much anything else. When you hear Terry Pegula in an interview or speaking in public, it's embarrassing. He sounds like a real dimwit; the lights are off in the attic. I think Kim has turned the team into an affirmative action test case, with Doug Whaley, Anthony Lynn (by elimination of Rex) and a trio of black qbs leading the way. I don't think Kim Pegula is competent and neither is Terry Pegula, at least when it comes to building any kind of sports franchise, particularly one at the highest level. Maybe Kim would be better off trying to market her legendary arugula salad. With all these factors at the top level I do not see any hope whatsoever for the Bills and Sabres, unless the Pegulas sell the team.
  19. It's a given that Robin will let in one bad goal a game and he will lose the shootout. To a mediocre team, what good is that? I remember what a goal-challenged team the Sabres were when Hasek was goalie. They NEEDED him to perform at top level just to stay in games. Our offense hasn't changed much since then and we still need a savior in goal. Problem is, even if you get to the top levels, a great goalie is not going to be enough.
  20. Thanks. I was wondering about this. Larsson is one of the few valuable pieces of this team.
  21. He let a crap goal later on. Did his teammates do a variation of the WTF wave? btw anybody know who was the player that broke his stick over the crossbar right after that home loss to the Bruins on Thursday?
