This is where I’m at. In order to have those wow moments you’re going to have some gaffs. Face it. His competition is good. Look at Hughes and Makar. They make things happen but are given the leeway to go for it and there are gaffs.

They’re both failing miserably. Its clear the most interesting man in the world has final say. Remember shortly after or in the early streak when the PP was firing on all cylinders Ralph made the comment that he was noticing problems in the PP and he needed to tweek it. Well he did. Great move Ralph. As for the PK goaltending is a big part of that and we have yet to have any.

And his GM abandoned him. Wasting the best years.

What do ya all think of Ralph ? Hasn’t shown me much. To be fair things would be different with a goaltender that can stop pucks, a 2C, and a little bit of ?. I’d add a little grit as well. Ralphs a motivator. Have these guys looked motivated ? The eye test tells me its same old same old in that department. So what has he added ?

Someone needs to lose their job. This is pathetic.

Why did they not have these gm meetings before the trade deadline ?

Kyle Connor the hardest working guy that period and he barely worked up a sweat. If only we had one like him.

I certainly don’t challenge him with the thoughts that I’m omnipotent or something like that. Its always with the knowledge that it’ll lead to discussion or he’ll say thank you for the input but we’ll do it my way. Sometimes it goes the other way. He’s yet to send me packing and we’ve had some real doozies over the years. If I was a GM with experience and TP clearly has shown that he knows next to nothing about running an NHL team based on historic results, i’d lay my cards out with the knowledge it might get me shitcanned. I’d rather that then have TP or anyone tell me how to do my job. The thought of being a yes man grates me to the bone. Wouldn’t do it.

Didn’t vote. TP needs to look in the mirror. What kind of idiot would hire a first time GM who in turn hires a first time coach ( really do 48 games of a throw away season count ? ) to run a historically bad team ? We’d be in the playoffs now had he not only hired a experienced gm but one with big enough balls to tell TP to stay the hell out of his way while he straightened this mess out.

So you’re saying they tanked ? They never tanked. They were bad sure. But they never tore it down in the fashion Buffalo did. They continued to at least try and win. BIG difference.

For some reason I don’t feel confident about this one. I just can’t put my finger on it. Oh yeah ! Its cause we lost the last 3. While we were playing the right way according to Ralph. The Canucks are doing a pretty decent job of collecting talent without having to tear it down to the ground. One of many teams to do so.

Its maddening and it doesn’t appear coaching is going to fix it anytime soon.
