First wave second wave its all a blur. But I doubt we see hockey.

Finishing the season or starting the 24 team playoffs is a pipedream. Nothing is starting up till 2021. That second wave is already rolling through. Gary Bettman can go pound sand. Maybe the Pegulas foresee a no go scenario with the startup and pulled the rug on employees for that eventuality. They weren’t in it anyways.

Now we sit back and watch Terry and Kim rebuild a hockey team.?

I kind of feel like we just got passed by a whole bunch of veteran drivers and we’ve handed the wheel to a sixteen year old who just got his licence.

Are TP/KP still trying to raise money for a shiny new football stadium ? Was that nixed ? sounds like they’re bleeding money with whats happened in the last 24hours. Would they cut costs in one sport to helpget what they want in another?

TP/KP are meddlers extraordinaire and they certainly feel they are more intelligent than everyone in hockey. If the league offered some advice because you are clueless and you take their advice its still your hire. You can’t now try and shift the blame from yourself. You made the decision to hire them regardless of who gave you the advise. You’re the owner. OWN IT. Is there a more incompetent ownership ‘ couple ‘ in hockey ? In all of sport ?

Its always wait and see. Once again its about the future rather than the present. Its something we can look forward to. Its all in due time. Its just around the corner. Its so close I can smell it. We’re almost on top of it. If we get any closer it’ll hit us square in the face. Take it one step at a time. One game at a time. If we win this period.

Kim saying something to the effect she can work with Adams in the day to day operation of the team scares the hell out of me. This hire proves to me she is in way over her head. No due diligence in finding the right person for the job ? They’ve done a lot of good for Buffalo but man are they setting this team back with every move they make. It just never ends.

This feels like a reset and we start over again. Kevin friggin Adams ? A rags to riches story. Came up from the bottom to claim the title from JBotts who was at least competent. I’m kind of surprised Kim Pegula didn’t try on the ruby slippers.

What a shitshow

Anyone still following better call saul ? Imo the last 3 episodes have been on par with or better than breaking bad. Just wowza. Things are really heating up.

The quickest a vaccine was tested and approved with all the proper protocols etc was 4 years and that was a vaccine for the mumps. 18 months seems absolute best case scenario and is prolly fraught with danger. So much that can go wrong. But like was mentioned upthread a few posts if the world works together who knows whats possible.

Washed down the entire kitchen including cabinets, doors, tops ( if you’ve never had a look up there yikes ) . A mixture of cooking grease and dust. A simple dish soap water mix and everything looks lily white and new. Washed walls , stove, fridge, etc. My wife is ecstatic so thats good. Cleaned the garage which has become a catchall over the winter. shite , what next ?

The fans turned on him but the guy couldn’t make a save in the skills competition after the tie. Turns out he’s an o.k. Goalie but in hindsight before we knew of the mental problems a goalie that couldn’t make a save in the skills competition doesn’t do your team any good. I’m glad he’s gotten the help he needed.

As for hollywood movies I finally watched Moneyball and really enjoyed that. Not sure why I waited so long other than not being a big fan of baseball but that was a good movie.

I guess for me the thing was that it was just different. Didn’t adhere to any hollywood formula and well, kind of disturbing. I get tired of the hollywood cliche as some sort of benchmark when there are a *****-ton of good movies that come from other countries.
