Loved that Young Cozens stood up for himself. That kid gets it. Turn the other cheek and they walk all over you. You want the other team to respect you ? Drop the mitts. Some don’t understand this and want it out of the game and it likely will be soon what with cancel culture and Mr. Potato heads masculinity offending people but tonight Cozens showed his team mates what team mates do. Brothers in arms.

Agreed. If you can’t score 5 on 5 with a top 6 of guys mostly known for their goal scoring ( plus Skinner ) then its got to be systems. Or they’ve simply tuned you out in which case the coach generally goes. Its coaching. I’m not sure I’ve actually seen him coach during the games. He stands there much like Housley.

Yeah they got lucky. I don’t follow Football. That much is probably obvious. I don’t post in the Bills thread. So the Pegulas are probably not only bad at hockey ownership but also bad at football ownership. Get out of sports team ownership Terry. Ya smuck.

With all due respect Punch this isn’t the Bills. Clearly the Pegulas used a different formula with the Bills. Their track record with the Sabres is littered with bad decisions going back 10 years. I agree they need toughness and heart. To accomplish that they’ll have to move some out that don’t appear to have any.

This team has the make up of the owners. Basically wet noodles. The pegulas like to bring in ‘ their type of people ‘. The same type of people offended by Mr. Potato Heads masculinity. We need guys with heart.

Thank you. I hadn’t seen anyone comment on that but I made an earlier observation of the same. Its what drove me away earlier. This team continually gives up possession to the point of looking like a gameplan. Its maddening.

Huttons not good but this is a team effort full stop. I’m tired of watching our guys concede the puck to the Flyers or simply shoot it in and not retrieve it. Is this also part of Ralphs strategy ? Anyhoo I’ve seen enough. Enjoy the loss.

Unfortunately the Pegulas are the mistake. Every bad decision , every head scratcher hire or bad contract is theirs to own. The barely watchable hockey. The lack of leadership. The in house product. The outside perception of the team. The lost pride of team and the destruction of the brand. Its a tragedy and comedy all wrapped up as one. This is their product.

Nice job Ralph. Motivated the heck out of them today. Got a ton of production and you got them doin it the right way. Very impressive. Can’t wait to see what you squeeze out of them tomorrow.

I want solutions that include Jack but if the whining ( if it exists ) continues with Jack and his things better improve here or I’ll take my toys and leave routine, all bets are off. This team needs a leader who bears down and helps pull his teammates up with him not a child. The moping and stick breaking is not leadership. Hopefully he grows through this.

Going to the mountain today. Snowshoeing and tubing. Hope the boys win but not holding out hope with the current state of the goaltending.

I can only imagine team meetings where Ralph drones on and on about his supreme intelligence while the players master the art of sleeping with their eyes open.

Well it appears my earlier pep talk worked. At least for me. A solid effort by pretty much everyone and some timely saves does wonders for the win column and the mood. No complaints from buno and that goes for you too Ralph.

Ok. Gloves are off. I said no more abuse towards the player or coach but Ralph is a knob. As long as the players put in an effort I’ll back them. That includes you Jack. Give an honest effort injury or not and we good. Ralph you don’t appear to have a clue what you’re doing so get stuffed. I’d be happy with a coaching change at this point regardless of how disfunctional it makes us.

Can we start talking about the draft lottery and will the league try to screw the sabres by changing the rules ? all hope is lost.
