56 games in 116 days. Basically a game every second day. The same is true of every team but for the teams relying on rooks to pull some weight or the teams with an aging core it could get dicey. And there will be injuries. That said I can’t wait till this gets going.

Also said entire teams may end up dropping out of the 10 team tourny. Not to be an alarmist but thats what it said. That would suck.

Dahlin was 19 last season no ? Hughes was 21 or is now. I can’t wait to see these two at 23-24. I’m pretty sure Dahlin will be ok when his game is compared to Hughes at that point. He may have his breakout year this season.

Not sure if it was my parents or maybe I was just a brilliant enlightened child😉but from a very early age I knew that bullying or picking on developmentally challenged individuals was wrong on so many levels. That and any form of racism was just not tolerated in any way. Full stop. So for a kid at 14 or 15 to claim that he just didn’t know any better is crap. I knew better at 5. Whats his excuse ? I do believe that people are capable of change and can improve their behaviour . He may still develop into an upstanding young man.

Basically what I was trying to say upthread. You want the guys that want to kill those ‘useless’ tests and come out on top . What you don’t want are the guys that go through the motions. If you can recognize the good or bad traits in the kids at that point you’d better use that knowledge to weed out the ones that will haunt you later.

No I wasn’t discounting what you said but looking at it beyond the pullups themselves the players that do use it to motivate themselves are probably the type of guys that have the intangibles that Casey may not have. Who knows Casey may surprise everyone yet. I certainly hope so.
