Put this in the gameday thread. Prolly belongs here. Watched the Washington game on nhl.tv and it was shite. Looped the entire game every 10 seconds or so. Sometimes went blurry. If thats what I can look forward to I’ve been jobbed of my money. The people who run nhl.tv should be embarrassed. Chromecast from my phone to the tv. The game on the phone ended a full 5 minutes before the game on my tv did. Could it be something I’m doing ? I’m of the opinion that its not. Never had that problem using chromecast ever.

That and I’m pretty sure Tampas D are all over 6’3”. Ours not so much. They were built for the playoffs. Us not so much. They are battle hardened. Us not so much.

Not sure what you can take away from that scrimmage. Little to no intensity. Duffer said it was very competitive a few times. Not sure I agree with that. More like shinny .

I’ve got to give the U.S. the credit they deserve. They came ready to play, Canada has looked like a deer in the headlights most of the game. They’ve had moments but in a game of this magnitude there are no excuses.

I think he was referring to the idea Zamboni threw out there that it makes the capitals slower and older on the backend as well as Bawston losing something that was always a strength.

I hold out hope but to me its much like every other year where everything that has to go right absolutely must go right and everything that can go wrong must not go wrong. Just to squeeze in. We get no favours from the N.H.L. But this team has to gel immediately and our goaltending needs to improve whether its the guys we have or another gt. If they make it its going to be a season to remember.
