How many shots did they have in the 3rd period ? How many of those were quality shots not on the perimeter ? That game was hard to watch.

I realize Boosh is dealing with a lbi but he put up the best possible screen of his own goaltender on the gwg without actually stopping the puck. Felt bad for him on that goal but felt worse for Comrie.

That was frustrating to watch. The canes have a lot of wily players and they also play the pic game to perfection. This is pretty much how the time and space will be in the playoffs if we make it. Imo we have a long ways to go but we also have the youngest team in the league so lots of room for improvement. They will learn from it and move on.

Watched on sportsnet premium and they couldn’t even get the picture and play by play matched up. It was maddening. As for the game the Habs either don’t appear as bad as people claim or the Sabres aren’t quite as good as we would like to believe. I think they are somewhere in between.

Dahlin is such a likeable character. I really want to see this guy succeed.

Not much to say about this one. Kraken worked for this one. The one thing that stands out is Casey and the lazy line change that caused the offside and negated Quinns first goal. He deserves a purple nurple from his team mates on that one. Or at least a twisted nipple. Or bag skate. Anyhoo put this one behind and focus on the Habs.

If I could play a recording of the sheer number of times I heard ignorant comments from radio personalities associated with the Canucks absolutely ripping our team over the last 10 years you would put those feelings aside. Even since Saturday I’m still hearing stuff like the ‘ lowly Sabres ‘ the ‘ terrible Sabres ‘ etc giving no credit to the team. Some do. Many still pile on. I feel nothing for their plight. I hope it gets worse. Yet they’ve made similar mistakes as our ownership. What goes around comes around.

A few short observations on the game. Props to Dahlin. He deserves what he’s getting with how he’s playing. Hopefully Samuelsson isn’t out too long. It was great how we took complete control of that 3rd period and basically made the Canucks our b1tch. thats it, its late and I’m turning in.

He’s a better leader as well.

Great game tonight. Dahlin playing himself into great company and being recognized for it in sports commentary league wide is terrific. People are taking notice of this teams hard work in putting together a tight knit group of guys. Props to KA and meatballs. Can’t wait for Saturday night. Be there or be square.
