Its obvious that we just don't have much talent. Throw in the underachievers and players Darcy highly overpaid for and its been a recipe for disaster.

Regier has no ties to the old Sabres that T.P. is so fond of. Hopefully it makes his removal that much easier.

Those quotes from Black show just how out of touch he is in regards to hockey as its played today. There's only so much change that Lindy could introduce into ' his ' game. He is what he is as a coach. The results speak for themselves. And now he's gone.

Looking forward to more change. Looking forward to this game as its the first in a new era. The post Ruff era. New beginnings but I have no illusions that this team will be any different because of a simple coaching change. I expect them to come out and play hard to try to impress the new coach but the passengers will revert to their evil ways within a few games and thats when they can be counted and hopefully jettisoned. Nice to see now that we're not the only ones questioning Regiers longevity. Hopefully Pegula reads some of the articles coming out today from regional and national media that ask those same questions. Its time for Darcy to go as well. Actually its overdue. Imo

Well this is very exciting. Wish Lindy the best but I'm raring to go. Hopefully this is a sign of more moves to come. Its really too bad Regier wasn't shown the door as well. This team has his fingers all over it. As for Lindy, one door closes, another door opens. I'm sure after he does some soul searching he'll be excited for the future as well. Now lets get to work and fix this team Mr. Pegula.

I appreciate Lindy and what he has done for this organization but make no mistake, It was time. Lindy was one of my childhood idols so there's never been any malice in my desire for change nor do I wish lindy any ill will. I wish him the best and I'm sure he'll find success elsewhere. I really hope he does. Now I'm excited to look forward as I'm sure he is.

Its not a meaningless season. It only feels that way because we suck so bad. Every other team in the league is taking this season seriously.

I see what you're getting at but for me and its only my opinion you do not let Darcy Regier under any circumstances touch this roster any further. He is the architect of this clusterfukc and allowing his fingers to mess with the future of a team he will not be a part of is madness. You need someone doing that job that understands that he is accountable for the moves he makes today and going forward. Regier needs to just go away.

Ennis is really creating havoc for the Jets D at times out there. I think he's probably the only player on the roster that has that ability to raise people out of their seats. If he could only put it all together. Or get the right linemates.
