I see what you're getting at but for me and its only my opinion you do not let Darcy Regier under any circumstances touch this roster any further. He is the architect of this clusterfukc and allowing his fingers to mess with the future of a team he will not be a part of is madness. You need someone doing that job that understands that he is accountable for the moves he makes today and going forward. Regier needs to just go away.

Ennis is really creating havoc for the Jets D at times out there. I think he's probably the only player on the roster that has that ability to raise people out of their seats. If he could only put it all together. Or get the right linemates.

Hodgson is still a defensive liability. He's young but from what I've seen at times he's a turnover machine. I hope as he develops that aspect of his game disappears. If not ?

Last couple of games the effort has improved despite letdowns at inopportune times. This teams still not very good despite better play. There are still far too many passengers which leads me to believe that upper managements mantra of change will come from within the room is a waiting game that will not have the desired results. Apparently most everyone involved in the game sees it now except our ownership and management. That being said despite my pessimism , as always GO SABRES !

Have you ever read the french canadian press reports after we play montreal and they've been translated to English by a french speaking individual that doesn't speak english all that well ? It can be quite funny. Thats not meant as a shot at french Canadians in any way. Its just humorous. It would be like me trying to translate english into french even though I don't speak much french. Its too bad Grigs parents never got to see him play but in this case Ruff made the right decision. If he feels by sitting Griggy the team has a better chance to win then thats the decision a coach should always make regardless of situations on the outside. Team before player always. As much as it sucks thats how it has to be.

It doesn't matter. Its all hypothetical and only exists in Darcys mind until it happens. This bad team we are currently watching is a product of Regiers vision and I have to say I really don't trust his vision moving forward. I can't remember a time in many many years when we were considered heavy favourites to win anything. That is on Darcy. Now we are not even considered a team that can make the playoffs. So lets do the only reasonable thing under the circumstances and extend him. Pathetic.
