  1. You and I both. Einstein said the definition of insanity was trying something over and over with the same results. 15-16 years of trying it R&Rs way and we are no closer to winning the cup never mind actually competing for it. Its insanity.
  2. First 90 seconds of the game sealed it for us. No moral victories here. We never played good enough to win obviously because we never won. I should hope Ryan Millers mad. He made some great saves but he plays on a bad team. He still won't come close to the anger I feel watching them fukc up game in and game out. Think Regier will do something to try and save this season ? Good luck with that.
  3. Ever notice how Milbury rhymes with Pilsbury as in Doughboy ?
  4. That sounds like one of those french Canadian translations from french to english by someone that doesn't know much english.
  5. Sabres did a great job killing that powerplay.
  6. In hodgsons defence Dupuis did grab and hold his stick causing the turnover, The official missed that one. Get that call its a different game but this is the Sabres we're talking about.
  7. Dupuis had hold of hodgsons stick behind the net. Holding !
  8. The real question is do the Sabres come out flat ? If they can't get ready for this game on hockey day in America against Crosby there's something wrong. But I believe they'll come out flyin. I sure do. Flying like squirrels I say. Yup you betcha.
  9. Hesus Christ just start the game already. How to grow a hockey mullet ? Get off my screen Roenick.
  10. I was going to ask the same. He can build a roster but build a team that competes above the level we compete is the distinction.
  11. There's usually 1 or 2 threads that don't go to the last read post for me but I thought everyone had that luxury ? Today the only 1 not doing it is the G.D.T. so I'll have to note the post # everytime I read to the end. Life could be worse but this suckz Got to get used to the fact that we'll have to listen to that windbag Milbury and that twerp Pierre whatsisname.
  12. It'll be fun following the gametime thread today as it doesn't take me to the first unread post  Oh well in any event GO SABRES !
  13. Not that I'm advocating Patrick as head coach but I remember a game last year where lindy couldn't go for some reason and Patrick stepped in and the team played real well ? Anyone have any more specifics than this my memory fails me. Or maybe I'm out to lunch.
  14. Darcys feeling a little more heat than usual so I wouldn't doubt he'd throw a bone.
  15. Thats funny. Sounds a lot like this board when we're losing. Its good to hear the Bruins fans whine about this when their team has made thuggery and goalie interference an artform. They never were able to see the game from both sides.
  16. Agreed. There are 10-15 dirtier to borderline dirty hits a game than that one was. Just an unfortunate injury resulted from it and people see malice based on the result.
  17. Its funny how people react when this team does what it gets paid to do. Win. Everyone is so used to losing and lacklustre play that really we've come to expect it. Thats why you get comments from both ends of the spectrum on this board. When they do win it should be celebrated. When they lose people will vent. Its hard to celebrate a loss.
  18. Problem is that wasn't a dirty hit to begin with imo so to retaliate at that point makes no sense. Maybe the team felt the same way ? To me its like when players go after someone for throwing a clean hit. Stuff like clean hits used to be celebrated in this league but now everyone wants to defend the other guys honour. Makes no sense.
  19. Its a rope a dope
  20. That was sweet. Funny thing is Van has a few more that were able to go but were on the bench. Bieksa and Kassian being a couple more of them. Toughness throughout the lineup
  21. I just felt my yarbles suck up into my gut a little when you said that
  22. Why not really shock everyone and make this a 3 team trade. I haven't seen one of those in a while.
  23. I can think of a few more centres to hold up as the standard by which we develop Griggy other than Seguin. That being said I think Seguin will have a good career. I was hoping Grigs would develop into a stevie Yzerman but thats probably wishful thinking on my part.
