  1. As good looking or better looking. I'm sure he is. I can only imagine big mama Chara.
  2. He looks worse every time I see him play.
  3. That 5 on 5 play in the Sabres end was like they were still on the P.K., Nasty.
  4. I want to like this guy and I want to give the guy a shot. Hopefully the players respond. I can't help but see a young Ted Danson every time the camera pans by the coach.lol
  5. The Hawks are 16-0-3. This team is a juggernaut.
  6. 29 games to go. I get the feeling we still haven't seen rock bottom. Lets hope they turn a corner. Baby steps. Rah rah rah. as always, GO SABRES !
  7. I voted medium. Like others have said if done properly by a capable g.m. a rebuild can happen in a matter of years ( 2 or 3 ). Its looking like this team isn't going to contend for 2 or 3 years anyway the way things stand so go for it. Fire Regier. Hire a capable g.m. and start the process. I'm sick of losing but I'd rather bite the bullet now and see positive steps towards building a team that has an identity rather than this loose collection of players we call our team. I don't think Darcy could even tell you what type of team or what identity this team has. There doesn't seem to be a plan or mission statement. Its time for him to go.
  8. Any seats available for the monkey hump ?
  9. That second quote was refreshing. I remember hearing after Lindys olympic experience that Lindy would try to implement what Babcock in Detroit does by having his 'd' jump up into the play more but with having a less talented squad it wasn't working obviously. They just weren't good enough to have real success like they do in detroit. Get them back to playing defence first and build their confidence up from that.

  11. Detroit gets 8 on the casmucks ? Unreal.
  12. A g.m. that already has a network of other g.m.s he counts as equals is what this team needs. Not a greenhorn just trying to fit in. We don't need to be getting fleeced by the old boys network.
  13. So basically this years roster next year ? No f'n thanks. Blow it up.
  14. Almost unwatchable. Its like a trainwreck you just can't look away from for fear you may miss the carnage. At times I feel like a rubbernecker at an accident site. I've had a very hard time coming to terms with the fact that this is the team I love and not the Islanders or the panthers etc. Its our damn team that sucks. Shite man.
  15. He's reading this ? O.k. I'll go. Darcy this team you've built is well, just bad. I feel real sorry for you and this situation you've put this franchise in but I have no qualms about telling you its time to move along. See, we need a change in philosophy. A culture shift so to speak. Your way of doing things really hasn't worked that well and Perhaps someone else should implement a game plan on how best to move forward. But do it quick Darcy. I realize speed isn't one of your strong points so do try to hurry would you. And thanks for your service to the team.
  16. The thought of blowing it up and starting over used to scare the shite out of me but I don't really have that fear anymore. The alternative scares me more. Time to change the culture of this team.
  17. To play the wrong note is insignificant, to play without passion is inexcusable. - Ludwig Van Beethoven This about sums it up for me.
  18. Hopefully young, skilled, hungry players with a bit of a chip on their shoulders and something to prove.
  19. Ted Danson looks a little upset behind the Sabres bench
  20. Regier must have sweaty palms. There have been some good signs but few and far between. This is one boring hockey game.
  21. Most people would agree that this team had and still has many problems. Lindy being one of them.
  22. Grinnen bout MacKinnon
  23. I realize he was playing the shooter. Thats obvious. I just thought he came out a little too far.
  24. Well there is the fact that he could have gotten over to his right to stop the puck but no, not a bit.
  25. Miller should have stayed back in his net more.
