  1. Yeah a buddy told me to make my own list and hopefully they cancel each other out. But really I don't mind. Its mostly stuff that can't be neglected for too long like fixing fences, house maintenance n shite like that.
  2. My wife is trying her damnedest to fill my time with a honey do list. She's got one taped to the fridge and as I complete each task she checks it off the list. Problem is she keeps adding to the list. I know. Hand in my mancard. You got to take the good with the bad I guess. I can't wait for this season to start.
  3. Ever try anything by Erving Welsh ? He wrote Trainspotting, Porno, and a bunch of others I can't remember. I've read a couple but it was a struggle because he also writes in a scottish slang. I found I was constantly calling my friend Peter who's a scot to ask him the meaning of strange phrases and such.
  4. Good one. It would be hard to unwind getting home from a job like that.
  5. Is he Dunkin donuts ?
  6. I wonder if this will give rise to drinking games when the Sabres play on t.v. next ? Anyhoo, apparently he is only human so it is my understanding that humans do occasionally make bad decisions and screw up. Lets make amends and move on people.
  7. Not a BIG fan of Alabama Shakes but that song ' I don't want to fight no more ' to me could have been on any Stones album during the disco era. Great song but I'd love to see Mick and co. do that one.
  8. Or changing someone in grampers.
  9. Johnny'll do ya
  10. During the early eighties i had the displeasure of seeing a very large drunk women drop her drawers, bend over and urinate in a shopping mall parking lot. She emptied her bladder in a stream that shot what seemed like 15 feet behind her. Being 20ish and somewhat new to the ways of the world and maybe 10 feet from the ahem, lady at the time I got a close up view of the proceedings and needless to say this incident left a scar on my very soul. My condolences to the wife DeLuca.
  11. Fear the walking dead looks intense. For those that were there in the cities for the initial outbreak the odds of surviving would have been dire. Unless you got out of the city into the country. That and the fact that there would have been so little knowledge about what you were dealing with and what to avoid. Cool. Can't wait. Also, it would appear that ricks going to have a hard time hanging onto power within the group. I can't wait to see some of the regulars die and the introduction of some new compelling characters. If it happens ?
  12. The italians were also champions at reverse. At least in their tanks. Not sure if those had horns. :P
  13. Jack'll be fine
  14. That man is a genius.
  15. Mmmm. This is a pretty darned young version of the Sabres...Children of the cornrows ?
  16. Thats some funny shitt right there.lol
  17. Buzzkill :P
  18. That D looks suspect to me as well.
  19. Wow. Great article. I got a cold chill run through me when I read that. It just feels like destiny that Jack ended up in Buffalo. His work ethic and RORs work ethic is going to be contagious and hopefully spread through the others on this team. I can't wait till these guys gel and become a friggin machine.
  20. Thats a good point. Never thought of it that way but I think even if you are bounced in the first round its benefit to the young guys that have never tasted it is huge. Possibly make them hungrier moving forward ?
  21. Happy fourth of July to my American friends ! Enjoy !
  22. Nice avatar
  23. This is damn exciting. What a time to be a Sabres fan.
  24. Yeah I should have been clearer on that. Going forward for sure. It's all about a winning culture and trying to instil that mindset. Sure there'll be growing pains but ...
