If Nylander doesn't rip it up in the A.H.L. when he gets back in I can't see him adding anything that'll change our fortunes with respect to the big club next year. My guess is he's a couple years away from making an impact if ever.

In reality who would want to go into the playoffs anyways with this roster ? I'd be surprised if we weren't swept considering the make up of this team as it stands now. There's no reason to suggest the compete level would ramp up as it does for most teams that get in when this club can't even ramp it up for what should amount to meaningless games now.

For everyone lamenting the GWG Lehner let in go back and watch the play and specifically watch Falk in front. He makes a half hearted attempt to stop the puck by kicking his leg out. Thats why Lehner missed that puck. He lost sight of it. If you're gonna block a shot block the shot or stay out of the way. Simple minor hockey coaching. Otherwise Lehner kept us in that game when we had no business being in it.
