    Yeah I hear you. I have 2 brand new Sabres hats sitting in my closet that are about 8 years old. Never wear em. I got tired of trying to explain my Sabres fandom to . I swear my bro in law buys them for me just to see me squirm. He's a Bruins fan.

    No. I don't even see the odd positive sign with this club. We've taken the big step back that some predicted for our rebuild. Sadly it usually goes one step forward, two steps back for a sad sack organization such as this. And make no mistake. Thats what this team is. I would feel differently if I saw a never say die attitude out of this group but there doesn't seem to be even a whimper.

    Lehner fo sure saved our bacon . So many quality saves on breakdowns especially in the first. We beat a team we should beat but complacency at the end there almost bit us. Finally some secondary scoring. And a huge game from Pulloit.

    I guess my frustration with the team is I simply can not read or watch any news regarding this team. They are what they are and I really don't want to hear non fans tell me what they are. I won't go into it here. We all know what they are.

    Watched Logans Run a couple of nights ago. It had the same cheezy production that most of those seventies movies had but it was fun nonetheless. Its funny how a movie from your youth is much different than you remember it.

    And thats something you can't teach in practice. There are situations in every game that players can learn valuable lessons from and gain real game experience. Why not go for it in that situation so the players are always prepared for it in the future ?
