  1. It’s close, but TT is the difference in most the games for the Sabres this year. That said, Dahlin is also playing lights out right now. I think if you removed either guy from the team the Sabres would be a bottom 3 team in the league right now.
  2. Yeah, I only watch this podcast for certain interviews. They get real annoying real quick.
  3. Really good interview with Nikita Zadorov. He goes into details about missing the flight and getting suspended by the team, and the time he overslept for practice. Also genuinely seems to have enjoyed his time in Buffalo. Interview starts at 1:24:50 and he starts talking Buffalo Sabres at 1:57:46
  4. Sabres are tied for 2nd right now with Boston at 96 goals for, only 2 goals shy of the leader Dallas. So why is the record as bad as it is? Well, the Sabres are tied with Columbus for the most goals against in the eastern conference with 92. Issue is definitely inconsistent goaltending and bad defense. But is it system related or player based? I personally go back and forth as to the root cause and I’m curious to see what everyone thinks.
  5. No. This is more of a “3-young-guys-that-are-the-potential-future-of-the-franchise-first-year-playing-in-league-together” type comparison.
  6. I hit up stubhub to see a Maybe Win tonight in person. Both teams had a few days off and should come out with energy. This is the first of 3 games in 4 nights so it would be nice to bank a W in game 1
  7. Jost comes out of nowhere for the win!!!
  8. Everybody loves rooting against a bad guy. I’m all for the boos as long as they cheer when it’s going good
  9. Yes Cozens deflected the puck. Yes Comrie should have stopped it.
  10. He’s friggin ten ply bud
  11. Get your votes in. It’s likely happening this game
  12. I just added Quinn to the list due to popular demand
  13. It’s been 10 games with no fighting majors handed out. Who’s gonna drop ‘em first this season?
  14. Made it to Ween’s two night stand in Boston over the weekend and it was so brown. Many awesome sounds going down. I’ve seen them around ten times and every show is an experience.
  15. I think they will be fine for a couple games if we only have to rely on Fitz/Bryson/Pilut. Longer term I’d worry they’d struggle as we get a lot smaller on the backend with that line-up.
  16. Pilut may not see the ice though. I think Boomer is back in if he can tough it out. He had a shift in the 3rd period of the game he went down in so that makes me think it’s just soreness/swelling/bruising and after a few days rest he might be ready to go for Saturday.
  17. I’m also of the opinion we don’t want Quinn sitting in the press box too often this season. He should be motivated and would hopefully come in and give his line a boost like Hinny did when he got his chance. I picked Krebs over VO to sit for the simple fact Granato was super patient with VO last season with his wrist injury/slump and he eventually played his way out of it. Krebs on the other hand is giving an solid effort, but his decision making hasn’t been good. He could probably benefit the most from sitting a game or too.
  18. With Hinny getting 3 apples last night, he is a lock for the game Saturday vs the Canucks. So which forward sits?
  19. I was surprised with the number of open seats too and people definitely missed out if they weren’t there. I’m so glad I went and had a chance to experience it as it was intended to be experienced 🤩🤩
  20. This was an incredible show. I don’t listen to much Floyd and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  21. Sitting near the entrance by the bench. Tage is trying out some different sticks tonight
  22. Prices are pretty low so I grabbed tickets for me and my son. Looking forward to seeing what quinn and peterka bring tonight and how that second line of Middlestat, Quinn, Tuch look playing together.
