  1. No doubt about it. If the Islanders give us there pick this year fine. It will be top 5 and if he defers to next year we might have a chance at another top 5 with Vanek gone. It's obivious snow has no clue to what he's doing!
  2. I will give credit when credit is due and he did do well in the last few trades of his tenure. Problem with Darcy is he wasn't a risk-taker and was never willing to make that big move. The other thing was he really never had an idea on how to build out the team. He got very lucky after the lockout and changing of league rules which benefited the team greatly.
  3. If he does accept he doesn't have much to work with next year. But in a couple of years he will. Yes it will be another down year next year but with all the picks and Murray picking I think the future will be bright
  4. Klesla involved in the Washington deal for Halak. Guess that's better than a 6th rounder because most 6th rounders never make it
  5. Or Bennett and Hopefully McDavid in 2015
  6. Good we want to be bad next year. Especially if the Islanders defer their pick to next year. We might have two picks in the top 5
  7. I told people 3-5 years before we see playoffs leaning more towards 5
  8. I would laugh if Vanek stays and then walks. Islanders in bottom 5 with Vanek should be worse without him
  9. I have to give the guy credit it was brillant. Snow should have done everything to keep Moulson. They would have been a much better team.
  10. That's funny! Islanders should be real bad next year as well It would be huge if we could land two top 5 picks in 2015
  11. Take it for what it's worth from HockeyBuzz Moulson to Minny-- Buffalo gets a second in 2014, 3rd in 2016....two other 3rd/4th liners changing hands
  12. hockeybuzz saying Moulson to Minny done. We shall see
  13. Probably to Dal for next to nothing.
  14. Bob McKenzie saying Moulson to Minny a possiblity hopefully for a 2015 1st
  15. Nobody wants Halak for what Murray is probably asking and no one is going to overpay for UFA. just my opinion
  16. McNabb I don't think were ever in Buffalo's long term future. He had a chance to get a roster spot and couldn't. Parker will probably never see NHL ice. No big deal. I guessing Murray and Devine liked Hudson Fasching and didn't care to give up picks and players.
  17. That would be funny! Not really impressed with Etem. Yeah he fast but nothing major.
  18. Vanek might be going to Anaheim for Etem and Palmeiri! Wondering if Vanek would re-sign in Anaheim. If Kesler lands in Anaheim that would be huge for the Ducks.Sorry Kings fan but Kesler is alot better all around player than Gabby. Should get interesting because I just don't see Anaheim sitting and doing nothing.
  19. From Hockey's Future on Buffalo's pickup (12) Hudson Fasching, RW, Drafted 4th round, 118th overall, 2013 The freshman has a near point-per-game pace in his first year at the University of Minnesota. He is currently tied for third on the Golden Gophers with 25 points, and his line with Kyle Rau (FLA) and Sam Warning is helping the team stay atop the Big Ten with a 10-2-2 conference record. Despite having several solid linemates, Fasching has not been a passenger. His style, which mixes the body of a power forward with the hands of a finisher, is translating better than many expected. Fasching also brings a quality of intelligence and leadership to his game, the latter of which will likely be put into the limelight as he hits his junior or senior year. The combination of an already impressive physical skill set and a successful freshman season are helping Fasching move up on the list of King top prospects. Nicolas Deslauriers, LW, Drafted 3rd round, 84th overall, 2009 Deslauriers has made a career-changing move from defense to left wing and it is paying off in spades. Not only has this taken defensive stress off the La Salle, Quebec native, it has opened up his offensive abilities. The former defenseman leads the Monarchs with 18 goals. His big-bodied and aggressive style looks promising now as a left winger in a system that is rather depleted in that area. Deslauriers still needs to work on his defensive game and positioning in the defensive zone, but the move Mark Morris has made is reinventing his career and potential NHL future. With a stacked blue line depth chart, the Kings can now start to consider Deslauriers as a potential option as a top-nine winger.
  20. People need to realize alot of teams aren't going to mortage there future for UFA. I'm guessing Vanek and Moulson value is dropping which is more reason to keep Moulson. We have money to sign him.
  21. It is alot for a 38 year old. But Callahan is always hurt and asking price on his contract is way up there.
  22. I would laugh but I'm sure the asking price is high and so is his contract. Not many teams can afford to take on that contract.
  23. Now that Gaborik goes to the Kings I wonder if Anaheim or San Jose get involved in Moulson or Vanek
  24. I don't see what the big deal is with McNabb. He had numerous chances with the old coaching staff and the new and he never really stood out over aging vets Sulzer and Tallinder. To me no big deal. I have a feeling Murray really wanted Hudson Fasching and didn't care about the 2 2nds and McNabb
