Is there a cap hit for being on IR now? Wonder why they have McCormick on the buried list, but Gerbe is not.

Stoll just resigned this past offseason, seems odd that they'd trade him before playing 1 game on his new contract. They could make room however by sending Ellis to Rochester when either Gerbe or McCormick come back, also Grigorenko still has to make the team.

I'm not sure that Tropp really would have a role on this team in the NHL right now.

perhaps he's confusing Pardy with Scott, who has played D and forward.

I think the plan is to send Pardy to Roch, Gerbe and McCormick's injuries give them more time to make these decisions though.
