  1. Stamkos' contract isn't relevant. He was a 21 year old RFA when he signed with multiple restricted years remaining. What do you think Stamkos gets on the open market?
  2. Aaron Rodgers 2-8 16 yardsDrew Brees 2-8 8 yards
  3. Ryan has more value, he's younger, cheaper and signed for longer.
  4. There were rumors he left the Blues early due to a dispute with Hitchcock. Things didn't end well there I don't think. "Blues center Jason Arnott came to the rink briefly today, but did not practice. The club says that Arnott has a lower-body injury, but multiple sources say the veteran is upset with Hitchcock's decision not to play him." www.stltoday.com/sports/hockey/professional/reaves-cole-return-to-blues-lineup-for-game/article_069be0f0-96e0-11e1-b4a8-0019bb30f31a.html
  5. I don't really see many available who will be a top 6 forward and anything more than a 1 year stop gap type.
  6. Technically we don't know that they didn't. Also, from what I've been reading Mueller had no longer been playing center and finished the season as a full time wing. That could have been due to the depth that the Aves have at the center position, but the sentiment I was getting was that he was better suited at wing.
  7. Tropp played on that line at the end of last season and they had success, correct?
  8. Gomez is probably available via trade.
  9. That could be an organizational decision by the Panthers, but also of note is that later picks in 2010 Skinner, Burmistrov and Fowler and 2011 Larsson and Couturier all played at the NHL level their draft year.
  10. Tropp is likely in Rochester to start and I don't think Scott is going to be an every game player.
  11. Per dreger Carle closing in on deal w Tampa Edit: 6 years $5.5m aav
  12. Doesn't it make sense for Columbus to wait though?
  13. Cause it's garbage for a good player, and Roy is on the last year of his contract. If the rumor from Hamilton is true, that Anaheim is asking Philly for either Schenn or Courtier, then this doesn't come close.

  15. Dreger tweet: No time to squash rumors, but I will this time. Nash has not been traded to NYR.
  16. Paul Hamilton said last night on WGR that Darcy said they would like to sign Kaleta to an extension but have not yet had talks.
  17. Contract term could be a deterant for Dallas.
  18. But without an extension would you want to give up significant assets for him?
  19. Not sure Sabres have an equivalent to Zibanejad
  20. It's 7 years in the league or 27 years old. Therefore I think a 4 year deal leaves him a UFA without buying any UFA years. A 3 year deal leaves him an RFA. Assuming this is correct you're most likely looking at a 3 year deal, or something much longer, like 6 or 7. He really doesn't have much leverage in the situation, he's not going to get an offersheet, and even if he did Buffalo would have to match because the compensation for someone at his expected salary level wouldn't be that great. My guess is he gets something around 3 years, $2.5M.
