It's 7 years in the league or 27 years old. Therefore I think a 4 year deal leaves him a UFA without buying any UFA years. A 3 year deal leaves him an RFA. Assuming this is correct you're most likely looking at a 3 year deal, or something much longer, like 6 or 7. He really doesn't have much leverage in the situation, he's not going to get an offersheet, and even if he did Buffalo would have to match because the compensation for someone at his expected salary level wouldn't be that great. My guess is he gets something around 3 years, $2.5M.
