If this is true, Botteril is more utterly incompetent than I previously thought. He wasted 3 years of CM entry level contract and has at best an AHL player to show for it.

I think a recruiting company needs to be hired immediately to find a new experienced GM ASAP. CM needs to be traded ASAP before his value falls below Alex Nylander level. Unfortunately I don’t trust Botteril to make any moves.

I’m hoping the Sabres clean house in the off-season and all the garbage on the roster is expelled. That includes the GM. Why did we trade for Miller with his contract if he’s going to sit in the press box?

Don’t say there’s been no progress. ROR has progressed into a Conn Smythe winner. Evander Kane has progressed to a top 6 power forward that scores 30 goals a year. Lehner has progressed into a very good goalie.

Botteril has done a terrible job with the goaltending. Hutton sucks. He needs to be fired. We can’t wait for UPL to possibly be god in 3 years.

I think the problem is more a useless GM. His coaching hires have been poor and his personnel moves atrocious. He has assembled a soft wimpy team. Botteril is completely incompetent and must be fired now. Until that happens, there is no hope for the future.

The Montour trade looks like another mistake. He’s mediocre and we really could have used the first round pick on a forward or traded for a forward.

This is irrelevant. Taylor Hall is not coming to this shitshow of an organization. He wants to win. He could stay in Jersey and lose.

Special teams usually falls on assistant coaches. It appears RK has hired some incompetent assistants. No excuse for Botteril allowing this to happen.
