It's going to be a humanitarian crisis of gigantic proportion when all is said and done. (I suppose there will be aftershock quakes in the region.) We'd (the whole globe, not just the US) better get used to the idea of putting aside geopolitical BS and helping other humans in need in Turkey and Syria.

I watched Graham play and loved his game. I never knew he is black until today. Then again, I thought Sal Capaccio was black until a few months ago (it turns out that he is not and that his twitter photo was just really dark), so maybe I just need my eyes examined or something. Not that any of this matters; I'm just having some fun with my own ignorance.

100% this. Crosswords, too, for me, but not everyone loves those. I've spent a LOT of time in hospital rooms, and having a good mental activity (reading, crosswords, whatever) is a big help. The hospital TV is usually not the answer unless you like lots of ads and reruns of Quincy.
