Just for clarity, in my vernacular, "rock one" means take a leak. If it's something else in your world, or even most people's, I didn't intend it! -

I think I was more awake than the Sabres, and I just woke up to rock one. Back to bed. Goodnight. -

I am trying SO hard, but the yawns are more frequent, the lids are heavy and the eyes want the contacts out, and my legs want pjs rather than pants.... -
Is a point per game player special anymore? I say yes; Travis Yost has an argument against: https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/travis-yost-rethinking-the-rarity-of-point-per-game-players-1.1918672

No. There is a top 3 Qb who never won one (and I don't mean Kelly) -

With all respect to @Hank, this makes more sense. And I've mis-heard podcasts more than once myself... -
"– The legend of Devon Levi continues. After having one of the most unbelievable seasons by an NCAA goalie in quite some time, the Northeastern University netminder has kept things moving along this season with a 14-9-4 record with four shutouts and a .930 save percentage. He’s been unstoppable recently, posting a 6-0-1-1 record over the past 10 games. Levi, a Buffalo Sabres prospect, had one of the best performances of the season with a 54-save effort against Providence on Friday, a week after stopping 45 shots against UConn. Levi is the best goaltending prospect in the NCAA right now, and it won’t be long until the Sabres make him turn pro. Sure, he’s 6-foot-0, but his sample size at all levels – which includes the 2022 Mike Richter Trophy as the top NCAA goaltender last year and seven Hockey East player of the week awards over the past two years – makes it seem like he may be one of the few smaller goalies who make it work in the NHL." https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/nhl-prospect-roundup-buffalo-sabres-devon-levi-continues-to-dominate

The same Byfield who reportedly was off the table for an Eichel deal? His stock must have fallen. -

Question: If he lets in 4 in 8 minutes (he won't), will Granato pull him? -

Connecticut is not in Texas. -
People who think the O Line is the only problem might forget that the Skylar Thompson-led Dolphins hung 24 offensive points on the Bills, and I don't care that one of those drives started deep in Buffalo territory (just like I don't care that one of the Bills' drives started deep in Miami territory--they cancel out). Dorsey and the line might get better. Frazier will not; we know what he is capable of and it isn't enough. If they spend every opportunity cost asset (picks, cap room, whatever) on keeping Edmunds, getting a couple more quality O-Linemen, *and* replacing Frazier, I'll be fine. If they can do that while getting a real WR2, I'll be ecstatic. And I know, it's one of the best regular-season defenses in the league. But Frazier becomes a chicken in the playoffs and we have seen that for several years now.

I am someone who sees a great difference between those two wars, so now I perfectly understand. Thanks for clearing that up. -

Are you sure about that part? I thought he and his brother joined specifically to be part of the war. I think the rest of you wrote is spot on, though, and one of several reasons why I find his exploitation during a football game to be distasteful. -

From what I'm reading, we don't want to see this wrap up too quickly or else he'll be on the ice tonight. And not for the Sabres. -
That second word is susceptible of more than one meaning, and with respect to at least one meaning, you are correct.

So do they hold him out again tonight? -
Not much to say here; I doubt I'll even be able to watch the beginning, but here's hoping that we wake up to some nice news tomorrow.
-
Curt Schilling? (And yes, I did turn the game off per the Super Bowl thread.)
-
Not anymore. See other thread.

8:12 pm was the winner for the prop bet on me. That is the time when the NFL decided a catch isn't a catch. I don't care who wins, but I'm not watching crap TV.
