There's not going to be enough doses for people who want it in January. Don't even worry about it.

2020 United States Presidential Election

Oh, that's not at all what I thought you were getting at. I have no problems with most of this; the JRubin person is over the top though. I thought you meant violence, not boycotting or tracking what people are doing to undermine the democratic process. Thanks for clarifying. -
2020 United States Presidential Election

My, how things change. -
Can they just protect 10 (3D, 7F) and not protect a goalie? I suppose there isn't a roster benefit to that, but there might be a cap benefit.
-
Is there any reward for not protecting a goalie? I.e., would they be able to protect an extra forward or something? It troubles me that I knew the answer to this last time...

Just have one session (morning or afternoon) per week devoted to it, like they do for L/T. Maybe they don't do that anymore? It's been a long time since I was in a town court. But the idea of Mask Court is fun, too. Picture Doug Llewellyn standing outside...
-
They'll be fine.
-
It's really not. Start with the violation. Then, when you find out that the person in question is organizing anti-mask rallies, thereby indicating that it was willful and not a mistake, it's pretty easy to charge them with the misdemeanor and let the judge sort it out. Or when the person starts arguing about my right not to wear a mask, etc. That's how I saw it. My edit was just a hair too late.

Are these credible? -
Frankly, I'd like to see the Legislature make it a misdemeanor for the willful refusal to wear a mask.
-
That's not the road you were headed down with the comment I responded to, and I think we both know that. The discussion is about a preference for punishing the individual over having the whole society suffer; it isn't about who makes a mistake.
-
I'd rather have one idiot who refuses to wear a mask be punished by being fined $50K than have the entire society suffer by having another shutdown---and it's not just bars and restaurants, either.

Miami of Ohio just pulled in about an hour ago. For those who consider the MAC to be college football, well, one team will be tired tomorrow.

It depends heavily on who is "they" in certain circumstances, and I doubt it can be forced upon everyone. On students? Maybe. Even institutions of higher learning in NYS require certain innoculation records. But again, who is "they"?

3. The vaccine has to be stored at -70C and no one has solved that logistical problem yet; 4. They're only going to be able to provide 50 million doses by the end of the year, which sounds like a lot, but really isn't, since we need ~8 billion.

I think there may be one of each? Not sure. I think they are named "Sabrespace blue" and "Sabrespace gold" so if you search the forums for those phrases, you might get some more information. I think @PASabreFan is pretty active in them and he might have more info.

I've no idea. As above, I've never played in either league. I just know of them.
-
I was just kidding above, obviously. I hope to get to it tonight.
-
Not that I want to speak for Swamp but I think what we're trying to say is that there have traditionally been two fantasy NHL leagues on here and we see no reason why there won't be if/when there is a new NHL season.
-
There have been two, historically. I don't play so I don't know how they work.

Question for @Derrico since SDS and I are merely caretakers: Can we make trades for draft picks next year?
-
I have that game. I've only played it once, and we won on the last possible turn. It likely is the most fun I ever have had playing a board game. It was a huge rush.
-
I'm open but not creative. Send me a proposal.

And the missing call on almost killing JA on second down right after the third quarter started. It was freaking clear that the "shield" wanted that game to become closer. I would love to see this from your side.
