So, here’s the latest: I never heard back from Curt’s Team so after not being active last season, he’s gone. We now have 9 returning teams: gilbert11 Govt Muel Beast of the East North Buffalo Labatt Blue pasta joe Dahlin Beef Gtown Sabres Two or less I had not seen a response in here from Lanny or NorKentucky PP Slappers so I pinged them from Yahoo. If I don’t hear back in a couple of days from them We have Taro T , Turbo44 and dudacek interested in returning, which would put us back at 12. Tentatively the draft would be Saturday Oct 4th at 7 PM Eastern/ 4 PM Pacific or at 9 PM Eastern/6 Pacific (I have another at 5 PM Pacific) or Monday Oct 6th at 7 PM East/4 PM Pacific or 9:30 PM East/ 6:30 PM PAC (I have another at 5:30 Pacific) I initially thought this league’s draft would fit in nicely on Sunday the 5th, then noticed the Bills are hosting the Pats on MNF. Let me know if there are any conflicts, otherwise I’ll just pick a date/time. The NHL Season starts on Tuesday Oct 7th.

So why did you change QB INTs to (-3)?

UPL, Power, Norris Better goaltending is needed. Power needs to step it up. A former #1 pick needs to be better than inconsistently solid. All about health with Norris. He’s likely produce if he’s on the ice.

I guess I just have to accept that Power is who he is. I expected a 6’6” 225# defenseman to have a lot more than 26 hits in 79 games. What a waste of size! He’s like a 7 foot NBA player hanging out at the 3 point line.

Evan Rodriguez comes to mind, although I guess he was part of the uppity group with Eichel so it was better to get rid of him too.

I don’t understand what they saw in Owen Power to extend him out at $8M per year out thru the 2030/31 season. Anybody? He’s now an albatross and I doubt you could find another team to trade for him with that deal for probably a few years.

So what does he need improvement on. I do remember Biron getting thrown into a game at 18 where he didnt react and move his glove until after the puck was in the net.

Wait, after Levi was acquired, they threw him in there at the end of that season, including several consecutive starts, and he looked very good. What has happened since then that has him stuck in Rochester? Two years ago, it looked like UPL had blossomed so Levi was kept down to get more action. What is Levi lacking now that is keeping him in Rochester despite looking so good in Rochester?

Yes, they’re playing in Sacramento, where I live. You probably don’t follow it like I do but the latest episode of the clown show was priceless. The agreement the A’s signed with Vegas had a clause where the A’s had to start building the stadium in 180 days. Before that deadline, the A’s held a fake groundbreaking where they rented a bunch of heavy machinery for the day for the photo op. What a bozo?! And they don’t force him to sell.

I see 11 games in October but get your point of being home heavy. One positive of this past season was the good home record.
