North Dakota, Minnesota and Djurgårdens. How does that work if they are in college or playing already oversees?

I agree that his development could use another year in Rochester and I do think the team will be better than last years team. It would be fun to watch him there IMO. That said, I don't think last year compares to any other because of the limited opponents. I'll give UPL a pass there. Everyone develops at their own pace and I choose to be optimistic that UPL can emerge this season and exceed expectations. I don't need stats to back that up. I'm willing to let it play out a while before I start to define the season as one thing or another.

They'd better be ready for their best shot for sure. They'll earn anything they get.

Why is it impossible for you to think that maybe UPL has improved and will benefit from having an extra coach on the ice with him in Anderson? I'm not saying UPL is improved or that he will play well and at times carry the team on his back but.... I'm not saying he can't until I see it with my own eyes. He has been working all off season to improve the aspects of his game that are lacking and he has spent a significant amount of his time in Buffalo rehabbing and working at HarborCenter with teammates. The guy has had success in his career so to write him off so fast is uncalled for IMO. Lets see what the kid can do, rushed or not.

They are going to lose some games. This was as good a time as any to get it out of the way. It was bound to happen, Tomlin is a prideful guy and it trickles down to his team. They were tired of hearing about the Bills and no matter how humble they are in interviews the team ego was getting inflated with all the talk. Now they can reset and play their game and I think they will.

I'm going to remain optimistic that the Sabres will be better than people think.

I'm glad they lost. The way they react will tell the story of the season.

So, the talking heads are talking about the Olympics as if Eichel is C2. They are speculating the lineups but didn't hesitate to put Eichel in as a roster lock. Feels like a reach to assume right now that Jack will be back and or healthy by that time. Begs the question: If Jack is on LTIR with the Sabres, could he still play with the US Olympic team?

As commish in my other leagues I always play it straight up. Fantasy Karma is real. For the record, I like 12th pick. I can take two players and chill for a while in between.

How do we feel about this kid? Not much talk about him but those two goals were very nice! Why not Buffalo? Why can't the Sabres hit on a late round gem who develops out of nowhere into a championship caliber player?

Sabres have employed 3 of the top 5 German scorers in NHL history and 5 of 10 overall. Jochen Hecht, Christian Ehrhoff and Uwe Krupp were top 5. Tobias Rieder and Dominik Kahun round out the top 10. I'm taking this as a sign that JJ will end up #1 on this list.

Pick a lot any lot. I suggest walking around for a while, there's plenty to see. Hammers lot is fun and has some iconic Bills tailgaters in it. Basically you can't really go wrong wherever you are.
