Now we just made them mad. -
The Dominator makes his feelings known. "Russian national teams, all Russian clubs and all Russian athletes should be excluded from all competitions in NATO and EU countries. I am very sorry for some Russian athletes who condemn Putin's mad criminal and his Russian aggression in Ukraine. However, I now consider it necessary."

All we need to find a goaltender who can maintain a .995 save %.

Was just kidding. I'm sure he'll be back. I wonder if they are making room for a Quinn return.

I have watched every game so far. Sometimes delayed, but I still watch it. I just assumed people on a Sabres fan forum with game day threads are equally invested. Silly me. -

I need to see Tuch contribute again. He's in a lull. There are these devices called "smart phones" and pauses in the game called "commercial breaks." -
Thanks for playing and enjoy your lovely parting gifts.

Number crunching means nothing. It ignores every influence at the time: injuries, roster, authority. While his coaching "stats" are part of the record, the fact is he wasn't the hired official Sabres head coach at the end of last year. There is only so much you can do as an interim. His tenure started this season. I don't know what else to tell you. He's not getting fired.

He isn't targeting anyone right now. It's too early for that. We are not repeating the same mistakes Tim Murray made. This year is strictly for player development, here and in Rochester. At least a third, if not half, of the players on the Sabres now won't be here next year. You might see the Sabres take on a veteran contract in a cap dump. What would be the point of making any drastic moves this year? We aren't making the playoffs. If it's for next year, that can wait for the offseason.

There was exactly one rebuild attempt before this one. It failed because Tim Murray tried to take some shortcuts through free agency and trades. Botterill's tenure did not include a teardown. He tried to fix things on the fly. So the answer to your question is one rebuild after the Eichel tank and one now.
