And a little defense too. The Sabres did not allow the Habs many extended possessions in our end or odd man rushes. Toker didn't have to stand on his head. Made the first save and covered the rebound. Boring yet efficient.

It took a while but Tage is really turning into a weapon. Give him any room/time to shoot at your peril.

I was going to say the same. How many players are missing from that team? The biggest hindrance to the Sabres offense is the Sabres passing.

Thompson might be the only guy worth keeping down the road, and that includes Dahlin.

I don't agree. If allow chaos to go on in front of whatever goalie, the end result is always bad.

Don't diminish the role of the defense. Teams have been bottling us up in our end more and more. We can't seem to break out of our end and they results in extended possessions that wear our guys down and end up as a goal. It's a death spiral.
