Anyone know how I get the Sabres broadcast on Directv as my default? I have the Sabres on the record list but I tend to get the other team feed more often then not.

I was at the game yesterday in Oakland, three Bills fans in a sea of black and silver. It was ugly. Hughes was invisible all day and Kyle sucked. He had open receivers which he never looked at, looked slower trying to run and CJ...WTF? We were very disappointed in the play of both the D and O in this game. With 2:50 left in the game I said to my friend that Hackett needs to go. Horrible play calling and even the Raiders fans were saying to us why the hell is he running play action. You guys suck at running the ball. As to the Raider fans. They were gracious and friendly and of course on the way out you get the RAAAAIIIIDERRRS chant but all in all their fans were great. Oh, they really need a new station. I think the TV in my den is bigger then what they have at the scoreboards.

Where they put the arena in PHX was a bad idea to begin with. I live here and can't make it to Glendale on a weeknight for a game because I have to go home and feed the dogs and head out to the arena. Just too damn far to travel to the west valley. The Yotes would have been better off with a downtown or Scottsdale location but that no longer matters. It is what it is. I don't see the Yotes being here much longer. There is no fan base after the few thousand die hards.

I just finished reading Bobby Orr's autobiography and he shared his opinion on the high salaries in today's game and some players today just don't have the passion for the game. He says many go into it because they have the talent and are pushed in to hockey for the $$$ by parents. He talked about players turning it on in contract years. Good read. Hodgson has the talent. He doesn't have the passion for it.
