Agree, Borgstrand had the puck turned away what heck was Polak supposed to do? he was trying to cut him off and separate him from the puck... Hit was hard... its hockey not basketball.

Really ok, but it wasnt a on purpose interference and don't think Risto could do much about pass not reaching his intended target. If puck there its a clean hit.

True weird play definetly interference but not on purpose and guy ran into Risto's butt and got knocked silly would have been worse had he not held up and turned his back... Dude had his head down and puck never got there because of Cindy's lookout pass... the kinda passes that get WR killed. Cant believe they suspend him and refs should be admonished for game misconduct.

It is a risk letting "Jack" get his way... but at this point Harrington imo misses the point. Blysma's way is and has not been successful and the Sabres need a new coach that can drive these guys to play better D and still allow them to be creative in the offensive zone. Whoever it is should watch the Blackhawks and see how many times they reset before moving the puck up the ice and once the get what they want they move it up quickly and proceed to wreck havoc on the other team. Sabres need to run passing drills over and over and stick handling drills as well. But on moving the puck up and controlling the Hawks are impressive.

Oh I think Kane may have made the untradeable list with his goal scoring and finally with knocking out Cindy's chicklets as payback for his swat at OReilly's particulars. Sorry, and can't believe I am saying this, but I want Kane on this team despite his baggage.

Sabres are missing Okposo and his scoring and toughness along the boards. That being said Austin impressed me on D. Didn't think he was that good a skater... He won't ever be the guy skating the puck up... but has a nasty streak and decent passer. He has a nice shot too and keeps the front of the net clear. What was really nice was with his size he was able to use it effectively in scrums behind the net. He and Falk might be too good replacements to Bogo and Franson long run... Bring up Ghule to play with them and you only need one more puck mover maybe Makar in the draft. Hoping the Sabres can find a few gems in this draft on Offense and D to develop in Rochester too. Agree on the back end though Gorges is awful in the corners too.

Heard an announcer the other day in game between chi and leaves that the hawks didnt start winning till they learned how to play D. The hawks right now have some puck moving D and Panarin is thereal deal.

Eichel for Nolan Patrick, a #1 D and next years first.

These guys are always working on stuff and trying new stuff out. Not sure they try to much in games unless really comfortable being creative. Depends on player i guess.

In order to skate the way he does and I have tried.. Can do it for my 5 strides and then my legs are jello... you have to have massively strong upper legs with endurance to boot... His power is impressive.... maybe why he floats so much when not at full bore.
