    You are right about Gil though he got better as he got older. Still he could skate through an entire D with guys drapped on him or juke them and increase speed while not appearing to lift his legs. Dont remember him being great on D though except he became a pretty good back checker. One thing was he would pick the puck up behind his own net and skate the entire length of the ice and score. He had a nack of getting the D to open enough so he could split them. Also he was a very good passer especially with Rico’s shot and Renee’s hustle. The whole line had speed. Jack will be much better when he has linemates with skill and speed. Casey and say draft pick, CJ or someone like him

    Yeh probably... but if he is smart he brings up the young hungry kids... Beaulieu/Falk 6/7th on D, Olloffson, Middlestadt and CJ Smith... buh bye Pulliott and Pommer and Gorges. Either Dahlin or top 4 winger keep Larrson and Girgenson along with Wilson for checking line. Put two with Eichel and 1 on ROR line and go for it. What else to lose... Either it works or not. Look to sign a FA puck moving D or trade for one.

    My wife went on a strict no carb/sugar diet and for the first time combined with working out is dropping weight fast.

    Toxic work enviros suck... Im in a good one though not paid as much as some other hospitals with my skills. Still worth not having to pay emotionally for toxicity... family friends and sanity much more important. Congrats Josie and always keep your ears open.. Even if to appreciate the good spot you’ve found.

    Also team passes less Jack needs to hold on to the puck less, Sabres were doing a lot of standing around especialyy on PP. That being said Jack’s accuracy is off and may take a little bit before it comes back. Sam and ROR line looked decent but Sam needs to work on shot, he appears to be shooting more. Really that Eichel line got too much time on the ice. Pommer and Pulliott= Poo not Pu... The young trio caused havoc but needed to be followed up with another one that sustained their energy level. Not enough guys to do that.

    It is sad it has resulted in another tanked season, but yeah the tank resulted from years of attempting to replace Drury and Briere debacle. Misfires, bad drafts, lack of ttalent eval and development. I do get the sense that JBots is going about it the right way... the problem for us fans and I am sure he is aware its gonna take longer than anyone hoped. Next year gotta think its gonna be a better team, but even then it could be up and down. The top of the draft will be a no brainer... more crucial will be the later rounds. This is where JBots proves his metal and even then itll incremental improvement till all the pieces are in place.
