None of these guys made it to Hershey for today's game. Amerks lose 4-1 with 2 D playing forward. Mitts misses a wide open net by shooting the puck through the crease after being set up right next to the cage with no goalie to be found.

Amerks get smoked 4-1 and it wasn't that close. This team is in a free fall I haven't witnessed outside of the Sabres. They have lost 7 in a row. None of the reinforcements made it to Hershey so Paetsch and Gilmore were playing forward. UPL looked below average giving up a couple softies. Can't wait to see them in person Friday.

They have been losing every game since Gilmore, Mittlestadt, CJ Smith and Remy Elie came back. The first two have been a big problem. Constant turnovers, not following their system.

Except Gilmore has quickly proven he's not even a good AHL dman let alone NHL dman. Just like Bogo is who he is and isn't going to change anyone's perception, Gilmore is who he is but somehow this fanbase decided he was a player that couldn't be replaced by just about any professional hockey player.

It's not working. I'll go to my grave believing this isn't a thing. Everyone knows what he is. Nothing is going to happen in a handful of games that is going to change what everyone has seen the last decade.

Gilmore is the worst D man on the Amerks. He should be a forward. He turns the puck over more than anyone I've ever seen in the AHL.
