Because the NHL is a niche league without enough national TV contracts (see the current debacle with having to have 4 different streaming services to watch all your teams games), that they absolutely 1000% rely on local TV money to give them any hope of making money outside of a few select markets. Yeah that’s what I thought. Garage league to its core.

Watching this game was like watching any team playing the tank years Sabres. They toyed with the Ducks. Got a couple of bad breaks in the 2nd period, then they kicked it into another gear and demolished this team like they should have.

They all make mistakes. I have a hard time holding Clague accountable for turning a fight down with a player 3” taller and 30 lbs heavier. At least Clague is the size of an adult as opposed to Bryson (he’s listed at 5’9” but he’s not).

Seriously though, he’s been the voice of the Amerks for the entirety of my rooting life. Glad he got recognized. Fun fact, he’s my in laws neighbor. See him all the time.
