Bryson is fine. The problem of including him in the top 6 is that the entire defense core doesn’t touch anyone. Byrum might but Power, Joker, Ryan Johnson don’t at all. Dahlin will but he’s not exactly Scott Stevens when it comes to physical play. So we have an entire defense that won’t touch anyone. Maybe that work? 🙄 Are there Stanley Cup winners we can point to that built their D this way? Forgot Clifton. He hits and scraps but he’s 5’11”. Not exactly an intimidating presence.

I’m not sure if I can have a conversation with someone who thinks he can.

Yeah the players might play out the string but they aren’t going full Chicago Black Sox.

They need to bring in competition. I have no faith Adams will do anything resembling that. I like Krebs in the mix tho. Maybe Savoie or Kulich (I still think he’s a winger) will surprise but they better not count on them.

Much to Mike Harrington’s chagrin, I think Peyton deserves a shot with actual scorers.

You can’t make this stuff up. A fanbase that would absolutely die to have a gutty, gritty, in your face team and we keep drafting Baryshnikov’s. Imagine this team if Beniers and Tkachuk were here instead of 25 & 26. Holy ***** does the NHL barely give a flying ***** about this. Kane, Kuznetsov, they all do it.

Game time ensures I won’t watch this. When I was single, this is prime time day drinking at the bar. As a father and husband, there is no avenue for me to watch this in real time. Good job NHL.

He’s rocking a 2.55 GAA & .924 SV%. Every game I’ve watched he’s been standing on his head.
