Caveman says it’s 2027-28 when he can come to the US, you state it’s 2025-26. 🤷♂️

Reviewing Adams' Off-season acquisitions at the half way mark
inkman replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
People 100% fabricate those lists based on their preconceived notions. They don’t know anything you or I don’t. The Sabres don’t make bad decisions based on mouse potatoes opinions. -

Let’s go Buffalo! -
We shouldn’t forget, his big problem is foot speed. We saw last season what a lack of foot speed can cause, see Kyle Okposo. Brett just can’t keep up. For a team that struggles mightily on the back check, having a player that just physically can’t get there is a problem. That being said, I wouldn’t be opposed to giving him one last chance but I think the org has already made up their minds.

Yeah and if someone though Big Murr had the goods to make the show, he would have gotten that opportunity. He’s on at least his second if not third contract with the Sabres. If he can’t make the last place Sabres, I’m not sure he deserves a chance elsewhere.
-
I also believe acquiring great players in their prime would help the Sabres.

What will be the Sabres approach at the trade deadline?
inkman replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
With the deadline just over a week away, I think they are somewhat delusional but will in the end be buyers. I think they bring in a couple vets because they legitimately think they can go on a run. I’m not counting them out but winning > 70% of your games is daunting. -
They need it ?

Trading Owen Power, who I like, right now is exactly the kind of move a GM makes if he’s trying to win now. Holding onto him and waiting for him to reach his potential is what a GM that has an infinite timeline for success would do.
-
What exactly are the Sabres going to get for an oft injured stay at home defenseman incapable of staying healthy and a 6’6” kid who is 5 years away from being a good NHL defenseman getting paid like a top pair D?
-
They should trade for both. 🤣 Keep Rasmus and Tage. Use Cozens, Byram, Power, Quinn, Peterka, Kulich, Rosen, and whoever else to get Pettersson and Tkachuk. Everyone wins. Except the Sabres probably. 😀

Tage Thompson heads to Boston as a reserve for 4 nations final
inkman replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
What nod? He’s not playing. -
Lots of prospects leading the charge. Oh wait it’s Rosen and a bunch of 28 year olds.
-
What you said was you are upset they didn’t trade Noah Östlund, not “they didn’t trade the plethora of midget ass they have in the system to get actual men that play hockey”. I just thought it was weird you singled him out. Quite frankly, they should move every single forward on the Sabres, Amerks and juiniors as none of them play with the intensity required to be a successful NHL player. This whole organization stinks from top to bottom. Fire everyone, trade everyone and cut whoever is left. This team blows.
-
It’s weird that you are upset that he hasn’t been traded as if that was the most likely outcome of his career path.
-
This is weird

Hey the ol Tageroo! Woohoo or something. -
Bruh we had 17 years of futility. Now every game is straight up party. I’m not even talking about tailgating. I just mean the atmosphere surrounding the team. We have Josh. Life is good. Of course everyone wants to win the chip but only one team gets to do that every year and it’s usually not the same team. So I’ll continue to ride out this wave of Buffalo Bills fun until the wave comes crashing to the shore. What a ride it’s been.
