  1. I wish effort was the underlying issue. I thinks it’s deeper than that.
  2. No idea how good the stat is but it’s something I guess
  3. There is a reason I blocked the original Twatter. And where do I start with the Beasley comment. He’s a moron. He’s not wrong but he’s the last guy I need to hear from about anything regarding anything.
  4. I’ve said it before but you don’t need to be smart to get rich. You just need to know how to remove money from people’s pockets and put it in yours. Plenty of dolts turned millionaire out there.
  5. Expecting a coach to scream at morning show guys and throw his players under the bus tells me fans don’t understand how a lot of things work. Also, the WGR guys need to maintain a working relationship with Sabres personnel, including Granato. If they slam him the second he is off the air, he’ll never come back on the show. Granato isn’t going to tell a radio show his thoughts and feelings about individual players. He’ll get into how they are playing and what he’d like to se them do but tell the media his players suck will lose the locker room immediately. People put entirely too much stock into these interviews. It’s to give us access not air his issues with players. Have any of you managed people? You start doing what many are suggesting, you’ll lose the players respect. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Granato did a great job. I’d like to see a change but I’m resigned to the fact that it most likely won’t happen. The comments from Tage, Tuch and Dahlin are concerning. I like they are trying to take ownership but to me it sounds like guys who don’t have the answers. I don’t think they or the coach can provide the answers as they’ve been at this for years. If you haven’t figured it out by now, maybe you aren’t the right guys. This organization need an injection of leadership. Focus, determination, consistent work habits and a burning desire to win. I don’t see that in this group. Just wayward souls on a journey with no direction.
  6. I have no actual reasoning but I don’t like this guy, at all. Not to mention, don’t Curtis Samuel, Tupac Shakir, and Dalton Kinkaid have the middle of the field covered. They need an X receiver that can stretch the field. Probably two of them. Maybe I’m wrong. Learning a lot about these guys in the next couple weeks.
  7. We agree. I suppose I did not say it as eloquently as you though. 🙂 Dustin was barely 6’ 200”. I agree they need players with his mindset but he’s smaller than 50% of the Sabres roster.
  8. Or need a whole new roster. Same thing I guess. It doesn’t have to be though. Just need a hockey mind that knows what winning players look like.
  9. You can cherry pick the narrative however you like. I know which team I’d rather have.
  10. Bowen Byram must think he wronged the gods in another life. No one should be subjected to this misery.
  11. I’m miserable at parties. I don’t like people. Most of us suck. Every time I leave my house I regret it. We are more stupid now as a society than we’ve ever been. I went to see the new Godzilla Kong movie with my son Saturday. The lady in front of me at Walgreens, where we stopped to get candy and soda for the movie, brought 2 cases of beer up to he counter, spent 10 minutes bartering with the cashier then walked out of the store with nothin. Then at the theatre, the staff behind the counter, including the manager, were milling about while a line of a dozen people were waiting to get their concessions, they opened up another register and served some fat ***** that had just strolled into the lobby for a refill. Do you know how far of a ***** you have to be to refill a 32 oz soda in less than 90 minutes? They didn’t ask for the next customer, they just served the laziest, fattest piece of ***** in the building.
  12. Sabres fans don’t have room to laugh at any fanbase in any sport
  13. I’ve worked for owners who jumped for joy over piles of money to grab the pennies they could see on the other side. Maybe Terry has surrounded himself with people that can prevent it. Maybe…
  14. A valuable lesson that clearly our org hasn’t learned from. Embarrassing to say the least. Just hoping I get a notification on 4/16 that Adams and Granato have been relieved of their duties. Then I hope they trade some of these kids for actual men.
  15. He has been. My only gripe is that he’s a Bryson clone. No more 5’9” defenseman please.
  16. Or no one wants to come here.
  17. That’s too deep into the weeds for my liking. Who knows what he actually does but I’d rather not have the owner asking hockey questions. The new Italian guy should be asking Adams those questions. When his answers suck, which undoubtedly they will, he should fire Kevyn on the spot.
  18. I’m all for a new head coach and I’m not sure I even want to mention the pathetic looking assistants. They need to be fired before they explode out of their clothes. Do the Sabres have a dietitian? Can the coaches get some advice? Sheesh.
  19. How so many people exonerate the players is beyond comprehension. I’ve lost faith in Granato and Adams but to think a different guy with different words is going to make them a Stanley Cup contender is baffling. Do fans want coaches to bench Tage and Dahlin? Put Rousek and Ryan Johnson in their place? Or does the mean coach have to make them skate harder in practice? Is that going to light a fire under players who can’t be bothered to be ready to play in the National Hockey League? The team is rotten to its core. They all need to go. No one person is going to make them a serious team.
  20. In a season of disappointment, this thread easily takes the top spot as the most disappointing. If they run any lineup out there similar to this season, I may have to stop watching. Who has faith that any of the players listed, who have objectively failed at providing the bare minimum of success, can provide it in the future? I don’t want to hear that a new coach fixes them. You can’t change a tiger’s stripes. These guys don’t have what it takes. They don’t compete, they don’t have mental toughness and they roll over at the first sign of adversity.
