this team needs much tougher players..that have some skill of course. this team is too young. the older guys we have are well faded finesse players.the gritty players dont fade with age because they dont rely on speed as much as strength and meanness. as many have stated on here this team makes the game much too easy for other teams-which nullifies the great work that Eichel and Skinner do. we need more of the right kind of age on this team.

Dudley must have had some hidden injury in the late 70s...Because he used to be very fast..Then in his later years with the sabres it looked like he was skating with leg weights on. -And he wasnt old at all.

I completely agree.You said it better than I have been saying it. The toughest,most sound players are often well into their 30s.

The Sabres have a lot of work to do.I think fans are finally not kidding themselves and realize that overall this is a slightly below average team.Huge improvement over last year. We could use one more scorer but what is needed are strong 2 way players. Preferably tough guys with experience. Team is skewed waay too young among its talent.The experienced guys are mediocre and not tough.

in one yr to go from awful to average is pretty darn good. we need several players..1 center scorer and 3 tough veterans.then we will be in the playoff mix. we have 1-2 great players,4-5 good players and a lot of softies.

well thank goodness we don't have ryan oreilly and his losing attitude on the team anymore.

the problem with ties only counting as neutral or a win is that it gives the impression that a winning record is a winning record.
