  1. I forgot about Stafford. Reinhart is next.
  2. I forgot about Foligno. Reinhart is next.
  3. I forgot about Stewart. Reinhart is next.
  4. Those officials need my TV, I could see both questionable goals go in. I forgot about Ennis. Reinhart is next.
  5. Why the hell was that waived off in the first place? Pull the goalie!
  6. I could tell that was a goal.
  7. Thank God, now everyone can dump on Weber again. The universe was out of balance hitherto.
  8. Almost as stupid as sitting Zadarov.
  9. He needs to go down if this is how Nolan is going to use him.
  10. Awkward. Silly. Stinky. Craptastic.
  11. Did Samson defect? Did I miss something while fixing my wife's laptop?
  12. Anything that gets him out of here fast, I'm all for.
  13. 5 years. 5 YEARS! Your response, while logical and reasonable, isn't acceptable. Yes, there was overlap between Pegula's ownership, Regier, and Murray. What we're dealing with, at least we Sabres fans, is enough reason NOT to rely on a tank strategy to build up your team. No way. Because if we're at 5 years now, we're adding at least another 2 or 3 before they're POTENTIALLY playoff bound. I guess this is tank-talk, sorry for that.
  14. Can we talk about this a second? The Sabres rid themselves of Miller, Pominville, Vanek, Ehrhoff and I don't know who else who are relatively inarguably talented. Who were the untalented folks bringing down the team then, and who remain, and who took their spots with the same or less (lack of) talent? This just kills me...between two regimes, three coaches, and many seasons now, the argument has been "they lack talent". And, I won't deny the veracity of that argument. But...WTF? After all of these season, has no one caught on? Hasn't there been enough time between, say, the Goose trade, and now to address this lack of talent? Why, after 4 or 5 season, are we still blaming a lack of talent?
  15. Agreed. I think Nolan believes he's up to the challenge, and that if he can "do something" with THIS team, his NHL coaching career is secured. OR, all of the work and not-giving-up rhetoric is just B.S. and when the B.S. hits the fan, Nolan has no spine. I guess I really don't know what to believe any more regarding this team. Few things make sense, and the team still sucks.
  16. Great, great post. It almost seems to encapsulate the truth of the moment. If it is true, they do indeed have a savant GM, and good things are only some patience away. If my eyes are showing my brain the truth, my brain ain't come around to it yet.
  17. Benoit's judgement is as epically bad and confounding as Leino's was.
  18. This current roster has the personality of a used puck.
  19. I wonder if they're going to have one of their patented "closed door" meetings after the game.
  20. ...and this season we don't have the likes of a Steve Ott or John Scott to keep us entertained.
  21. Benoit is the new Leino.
