  1. OMG, so much to say... Impressive zone possession against a capable team. Instant chemistry between Eichel and Reinhart.
  2. Another assist for Jack Jack!
  3. You're being a kitty-daddy. It's okay.
  4. Haha, poor McGinn, we're more happy for Jack Jack.
  5. Eichel gets his first assist!
  6. WTH is it with the dump-ins. Samson needs to try and carry that puck to the net.
  7. Eichel must have skipped his morning coffee because his motor is not running as strong as the rest of the team. Or, at least it appears that way.
  8. I haven't looked, but his possession and turn-over stats must be...not good.
  9. ROR must be terribly frustrating to play against, especially when he's having a good game.
  10. Even with butter-fingers he was able to maintain possession. He's going to be a beast when he's 20.
  11. McCabe prevented a goal there by simply covering his man properly.
  12. Much better start. Fun game so far.
  13. Pull the goalie!
  14. You'll probably see that. His latest story arc was compelling. And, at first I thought they were done with Tom, but my wife wanted him back. I was like: "mmmmm...". Now that he's back, I'm glad. I've grown to like his character. This season's writing and pacing is top notch (in terms of keeping it interesting), and makes it easy to suspend disbelief. "Fun" is definitely the word for this show.
  15. That first line is a shut down line. The reason Gionta is there is because he's a vet, and all coaches lean on vets when they need to counter a line like the Sedin's line. I would rather Eichel be paired with Reinhart. The problem for Bylsma is that they're both rookies (effectively, in Samson's case). What we're seeing with these line combos is Bylsma's conservatism. I also think Bylsma might consider himself to be in a dilemma: all of his puzzle pieces aren't fitting together as smoothly as he had hoped. So, he's like an obsessed kid trying to make his Legos work for him. At least that's my interpretation of the constant line juggling. I think we might want to officially start figuring out who isn't fitting. My nominees are Gionta, Ennis, and Larson.
  16. Why not just leave Eichel out for the rest of the game?
  17. WTH happened to Brad May? Looks like he was in a bar brawl.
  18. You have to be of a certain age to get that reference.
  19. Ennis sucks. Trade him.
  20. This is 2015. Of course fiction is supposed to stand in place of fact.
  21. But, we haven't resolved the "it's not the nature of the evidence; it's the seriousness of the charge" aspect. What about those who don't care about the DA's conclusion, where will they go if this thread is closed?
  22. The language is clearly intentional. If I were to guess, I would say he chose to say it this way to help shape the public discussion - ie. to, in a way, help Kane with the reputation problem this has brought on.
  23. Yes, until the "Kane is guilty of something" crowd comes in here and starts twisting the facts of the matter.
  24. "The totality of the credible evidence – the proof – does not sufficiently substantiate the complainant’s allegation that she was raped by Patrick Kane and this so-called 'case' is rife with reasonable doubt..." From the Buffalo News: "Significant material inconsistencies between what the alleged victim and those of other witnesses." "DNA tests conducted on samples taken as part of a forensic sexual assault examination at a hospital 'lend no corroboration whatsoever to the complainant’s claim of penetration, a required element of proof for a rape charge.'" "Physical evidence and forensic evidence 'tend to contradict the complainant’s claim that she was raped on Kane’s bed.'" "Sedita wrote: 'Although Kane has exercised his constitutional right to remain silent (which prohibits questioning by law enforcement), he has made no known incriminating statements to any civilian, nor has he engaged in any conduct consistent with a consciousness of guilt.'"
