That's the Chicago you expect to see. And TB's lack of experience showing through.
-
Looks good to me, except the camera keeps swinging toward Chicago's goal. Dunno what's up with that.
-
I wouldn't expect any less of Schopp.
-
I like TB's PP. Surprised they're allowed to get set up so many times.
-
What did Schopp say?
-
20 minutes to get this show on the road? Come on! Let's get it on!

IKP, you are responsible for wasting two hours of my life. Those videos are great.

We were all noobs here at one point. I've come to learn that everyone here, to a man (or woman) is one smart cracker, even if I don't agree with their politics or the like. And that I can still rely on people here to engage in a conversation on a level I'm comfortable with. It's not stupid talk in here because not one person here digs the stupid talk. Which is not to say we're all elitists. That's the other groovy thing about this place, most posters here are humble and grounded enough to realize we all don't know everything and we all can make errors when referencing stats and facts and such. People are willing to share and teach. It seems none of us likes an ass, which is what leads to stupid talk and global forum strife. I'm a social media student, and this is, by far, one of the best forums on anything I've come across. And I'm not saying that because I'm a Sabres fan - there are plenty of Sabres boards, but I only come here. I'm on other forums, and have moderated forums (still do one, actually, when I feel like it) - this place, because of the community of people we have here, is special indeed. So, when a noob comes in, and acts like an ass: they start criticizing long-standing members, start criticizing the culture, trying to force their will upon the forum instead of flowing with it, posting utter nonsense (and not just hockey-ignorant nonsense, but nonsense that palpably could dumb-down the forum), then yes, we do, and we should, make it difficult for them to remain here. This is part of what makes it special and the mods have no idea how good and easy they have it (unless they frequent other forums); the community here effectively self-polices. In closing, I will say, that if I could become a part of this community, anyone can. Trust me.

I like how one of the keywords is "lightening".

Deluca is on fire lately! I would take that trade all day. Foligno, I agree, is not part of the long term plan and is easily replaceable. I have no sense of what Murray thinks of Pysyk, but I would say in both cases you can probably fill those roles with a UFAer either at the deadline or over the summer of 2016. I'd rather take advantage of this year's draft to target talent that will help out the team over the long term.

Chicago's experience will give them the edge in this series. Speed and skill will define these games with not a serious amount of physicality. I don't see this series going seven games, but, you never know.

If you're thinking I don't believe there's a chance the Oilers would take Eichel, then my sarcasm evades you. I posted my concern over that a few days ago and was softly berated about it. You're better off seeking out Hoss and others for a bet like that. I certainly won't take you up on it.

What's up with that crazy talk! Someone should rub your nose in it, buster, for thinking such fool things. McDavid is clearly the number one pick, do you hear? C.L.E.A.R.L.Y. God, Jesus, Allah, the Buddha, Megalon, not a one of them could appear between now and July 1 to change the universal, undisputed FACT, I say, FACT, that McDavid is the number one pick and shall be forever and ever, amen. You can tattoo that on your butt and cash it at the bank - no one in Oiler-land will even whisper the thought, let alone consider the idea, that Eichel has worked his way up on par with, or, **shudder**, above, the magnificent birthright that is his only, Conner McDavid. Or so I have been told, at least.

With all due respect to the OP, the concept behind this thread is exceedingly premature, IMHO. We're going to have three top six, or arguably top three, offensive players (throwing out Reinhart's preview at the beginning of last season) on the roster. Girgensons, who was out going down stretch, will be back. These factors, alone, are going affect the look of the Sabre's offensive capabilities - skill, chemistry, speed, smarts. Who knows right now what the D is going to look like in October. There is no goalie. None. Kaput. I don't believe anyone can state their expectations right now with any degree of seriousness. The only prediction that has made sense thus far in this thread has been DeLuca's. The roster rebuild won't be complete until the end of summer 2016. As for 2015-2016, we simply should wait until the pre-season before establishing what our expectations are. Again, IMHO.

Good question. Not having watched TB much, from what I've seen they don't seem to rely on a physical game, and their D isn't stacked with freakishly large skaters.
-
Someone got in before me, ruining the joke. Anyway, DDB is a trout fisherman; I smell opportunity.
-
That's a good group, right there, led by a good guy. Glad they're getting a shot at the Cup.
-
I love the handshake line.
-
Here we go, it boils down to these last 3:35....
-
Would "momentum" apply here?
-
Goon it up, NY, that'll win you this game, sure.
-
Three Lightning build a wall behind their goalie...I thought that was cool.

What. A. Save. Hank, pulling his weight.
