His right ear is a poke-er-out-er.

At most, I'd keep quiet with 31 and Grigorenko or Hodgson. No first rounds.
-
Jebus, I don't want to get rid of Bogo for this guy. WTH.
-
Not buying it. If he's worth it, they make room.
-
If he's worth the money, why aren't they keeping him?
-
Please, let the rest of the league think he's a d&$k. Works in our favor on many levels and through several milestones. I just like Kane, and he hasn't played a game as a Sabre! I hope all of this build up hits home. These are the characters you want on a team that's "hard to play against"...I'm so looking forward to next season.

I think Ennis is at least as quick and is comparably as slippery as Kane, but he's not the passer that Kane is. Passing and set-ups are a huge part of Kane's game, which is why I think Reinhart fits that slot/role better for now. And, Kane has a knack for sneaking into an effective position on a play (when the play is successful). Of all of the people on the Sabres roster right now, the only one who does that, or at least attempts that, quite like Kane does is Grigorenko.

I wouldn't equate Eichel with Kane, I would equate him with Toews, at least right now. We don't have a Kane, yet, as far as I can tell. You might consider Kane = Kane, but our Kane has too much sandpaper in his game to make that comparison legit, IMHO. Not sure who to compare Reinhart with, but, for now I'd probably make him the Pat Kane comparable.

Maybe because it took a while for the Cup to get out there, but, they didn't seem quite as excited as in years past to skate the Cup around.

The king will live for another year.

You get married at that young an age for one of two reasons: puppy love or pregnancy.

They're not accepting new registrations. I did request an invite. You can't see billing details as a non-member, so...how much does it cost?

You're not really trying to draw a connection between Hodgson and Reinhart's styles, are you? If so, I would love to see it fleshed out a little more. "Hockey sense" includes many things, not just knowing how to put the puck in the net when the conditions are right. I recognize the caveat you added a few posts up, but, Hodgson's "hockey sense" is seriously flawed - he does not sense when to get into the dirty areas, he does not sense when to sacrifice the body to make the play, does not sense (well) when to shoot versus when to pass, does not sense when to hustle into the D zone, etc. etc. I think Reinhart demonstrated his sense includes many of those things. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe the players get scared at the higher level - maybe Hodgson at one point had the sense to do those things, but, has decided the bigs are too much for him to handle.

What a game. This is a great series.

Ahhhhhhh'

TB is being a little loosey goosey. That was as sneaky a goal as I've seen.
-
The irony that such a gold-standard thread is about Hodgson. Dudacek is hitting home-runs in every post here.
-
On that last goal Crawford over-committed to the side the puck carrier was on, but he knew there were two defenders coming. I would guess he was relying on those two to handle a pass, which they didn't. Chicago just seemed out of gas toward the end of that period, out of gas for Chicago, that is.
-
I had the same thought, but figured faking an injury during play at the net was too risky during a SCF game.
-
I think they've settled into what this series is all about. They were nailing Blackhawks for a while, too. Seems both teams go through spurts of turning up the physical play.
-
Goodness, Chicago looked totally out of it for that play.
-
I don't know, seems both sides are being allowed to play. Well, I mean in this series in general.
-
He has to be relying on injections between periods to manage the injury, and they're either not lasting long enough or he makes it worse each minute he's out there.
-
Bishop is clearly playing injured. I don't know why he's starting, Chicago knows he's injured, too.
-
Haha, "Doc" keeps on saying "Bishop" and Pierre keeps trying to discretely correct him. Good hockey game. The Lightning were impressive, and Chicago was even given a goal.
