  1. Shattenkirk is like, "that wasn't supposed to be called..."
  2. There needs to be blood. The Sabres can't let crap like that stand. "A win" is not good enough.
  3. We were just robbed of two penalties, are you f%$^ing kidding me? How does Larry get a penalty on something stupid like that?
  4. JFC, there should be a bench-clearing brawl in the third.
  5. WTH is with these refs? Now a trip goes uncalled.
  6. The Sabres need to POUND that guy in the third. To hell with the win.
  7. Suspend that guy! WTF.
  8. Skinner can not pass. Just keep it Skinner.
  9. That was Samson who couldn't put it in, Victor had the right idea.
  10. Mitts needs to look, at least, before he gives it away.
  11. That was actually tipped, so, they still need to wake up.
  12. Falling asleep.
  13. Oops. @Brawndoalready has the skinny, of course! Anyway, Babs would definitely make our guys crumple up like tissue paper.
  14. Right, the past couple of games, especially, he's looked calm in the pocket and has made some really nice throws. I mean he looks legit good on most plays and then when he runs it...I'm pretty impressed based against what "people" have been saying about him. His protection hasn't been NE-like, and he's not getting a ton of time, so I can see where getting quicker reads has been an improvement. I guess not following day-to-day, game-moment-to-game-moment I'm getting the coarse view of his development. Looking forward to the Thanksgiving game, that's for sure.
  15. Is it still a thing that Josh Allen is not good? That's a serious question from a person not into following the NFL. His basic numbers look good, when I watch him play I think he does just fine, and it looks like his team mates really dig him.
  16. The thing about Montour playing forward last night is that he was "allowed" to play end-to-end in a more complete sense, so, we got a chance to take in his speed out of context. There were a few times where he rushed in and I was asking myself "who was that player".
  17. Good win for Ullmark, I thought. He seemed very calm and focused for the most part. Hope we see more of this from him. We're going to need it. I also thought Olofsson had a good game, the goal notwithstanding. Indeed, his goal was was like a reward for some solid offensive zone play all game. Vesey, on the other hand, blew his chance at removing the stink that continues to grow around his name. Instead, he added to it.
  18. Maybe. However, I thought we weren't going to look at the past to drive the future...Ralph? What gives, Krueger? Either we look at the past and use it to drive what you're doing, or you start with a blank slate, like you keep saying. If RK is being honest, that's not the reasoning behind putting Bogo and Dahlin together. I know it's ridiculous, but this is what RK has been saying.
  19. The ego is a horrible thing when not under control and fuel by stupid.
  20. @Randall Flagggets this. If we're making any moves before the deadline, ideally, before Christmas, to actually improve this roster, it's not just Risto who is moving. It's going to be Risto/McCabe, Risto/Scandella, Scandella/McCabe...or something. Our marvelous, deep, D corps, which every successful team needs, will be shot if Gilmour gets picked up. This is yet another sign that Botterill lacks a real plan and RK can't keep his word or has no idea what to do with this roster (or both). I also like what Gilmour brings. I think he'd make a solid depth D man for a playoff team. I do not like Nelson and Pilut is another way over-rated D man. You people like your soft D. A lot of good they're doing us.
  21. We will forever be working with what-if's, hypotheticals, and paper darlings if there isn't a vision that ties it all together into something greater than the sum of the parts. It's not the fault of ROR, Montour, Eichel, Skinner, Samson, and all of the other "good" parts if they're not creating, together, something that works, but they since they aren't their value TO THE TEAM isn't any better NOW than any other player. Are we certain that we're finally just a few parts short of something that clicks? I'm not. We're endlessly in that position it seems. Montour has fine skillz. Frankly, I think he's a sub-par defender (which makes him average on this team). If another team wants him and we get something that works in return, then that's where his real value lies, not in what could be if we ever get there, where ever there is.
  22. I don't know WTF you're over-reacting to now. Breathe and observe how the posts unfolded. If you're still upset, I can direct you to a good CBD store. OMFG, I'm not down on, or criticizing ROR, BUT HE NEVER MADE AN IMPACT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE TEAM. Whoever is to blame for that.
  23. I'm not saying he sucks. I'm saying he's not a valuable addition to the team and that he is over rated by people on this board. What good are his potential skillz to the team, what value is there, when they can't be leveraged? The value exists in potential and on paper but not in reality. You can say that about a lot of guys. If he can be moved to get someone on the team who actually makes a difference in team production, he should be. We might never be the team that he blossom ons, just like we weren't for ROR.
