Was he sufficiently challenged enough to improve the facets of his game that needed improvement most by playing in a league that clearly didn’t challenge him enough? The WHL was too easy for him and he would have been better served by being able to stay in the A. But never mind as we’ve been down this road before and I have no interest in rehashing the subject. We disagree. ‘Nuff said.

Taking nothing away from his impressive accomplishment in the WHL this season, but I question how much a player can really improve his game in a league that couldn’t challenge him enough. I think his five points in six games in the A earlier this season is more reassuring to me that he is on the right developmental track.

But that march to 9th place will be even more epic this time!

Kulich actually looks like he’s regressed; not impressive at all. He looks slower, weaker, less in command on the ice. Perhaps it’s lingering effects from whatever injury he sustained earlier, but he’s not the same player.
