  1. I’m really beginning to loathe this team.
  2. Let’s hear it for “showing some carbohydrates!”
  3. Mitts needs to sit. He looks utterly disinterested in playing hockey tonight.
  4. Kelce started off as a QB before switching to TE and that experience is invaluable to his ability to make pre and post snap reads of the defense. He understands the “why” of what a defense is trying to do and that’s half the battle. Beasley had the same ability and Allen really misses that element.
  5. Zegras is out 6-8 weeks with a busted ankle. We’ll have to wait for somebody to smack him.
  6. Yeah, but is he kind to little kids, the elderly, and disabled?
  7. It’s 2024. Why are games being broadcast over radio?
  8. Watching is one thing, but have you ever tried to listen to him call a game on the radio only? He literally can’t describe the play by play action on the ice and doesn’t even try. His TV audience can at least fill in the blanks visually, but the radio audience is completely lost.
  9. Little Johnson needs to fire that puck to the net.
  10. Oopie has to stop that puck behind the net.
  11. The word “inept” is the one that springs to mind the most.
  12. They attended the Dan Dunleavey School of TV Announcing.
  13. I pretty much feel the same way. This team is missing pieces. But as one of his harshest critics since he was playing like crap with the Amerks, I’m that much more happy for Oopie’s recent turnaround and I hope he continues to make a liar out of me.
  14. Does his shutout against the Avs count?
  15. VO only does things that show up on the score sheet, while Benson does all the things that don’t. He’s just a much more valuable player.
  16. Perhaps you should kick Power in the nuts.
  17. Glad you’re not among those Bills fans who do begrudge Belichick his luck in getting Brady in the 6th round and then develop into one of the best of all time. But many Bills fans are the very definition of the word when it comes to Belichick and Brady. I think you misunderstood my point about great coaches and great QBs which is that I can’t think of a coach who has earned the reputation for greatness without also a great QB along side him. They tend to go together as I said. I agree Tomlin is also a great coach, but it’s worth remembering that he, too, had a HOF QB at the helm for 15 of his first 17 seasons with the Steelers, which further underscores the point about how the two go together. Don’t know that I can agree with the idea that Tomlin has gotten a “variety of teams to the playoffs”, either. Both he and Belichick reached the playoffs just once without their HOF QBs so far.
